Safari in Uganda– it's all about the unexpected moments. 🐾
Giraffes walking into the sunrise, a leopard suddenly appearing in the treetops, or a mother lion playing with its cubs.

If you are planning a visit to Africa, do yourself a favor and don't overlook Uganda. The landscapes are more diverse, the animals just as wild, and the costs much more affordable than Tanzania or Kenya.

Sunset from Mera Peak High Camp (5,800m)—absolutely unreal. 🏔️

From here, you can see some of the world's tallest peaks, including Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga. Mera Peak is Nepal's highest trekking peak, and for how high you get, it's really not technical. Crazy that views and peaks like this are so accessible in Nepal.

Bohey Dulang, Sabah, Borneo—an incredible part of the world. 🌿🌊

From the viewpoint, the jungle plunges down into the turquoise reef below, creating one of the most breathtaking scenes in Asia. The contrast of lush green and crystal-clear waters is something else.

Concordia campsite on the K2 trek—easily the most epic campsite I've experienced anywhere in the world. 🏔️

Nicknamed the 'Throne Room of the Gods', Concordia is where the Baltoro and Godwin Austen glaciers meet, and it sits in the shadow of some of the world's tallest peaks: K2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums.

Waking up here surrounded by these giants was out of this world.

Sharing more photos from the K2 Base Camp trek– hiking and camping on the massive Baltoro Glacier, where the ice is over 170m deep in some sections.

Very different from the tea house treks of Nepal or expeditions in India. Pakistan is RAW.

It’s been fascinating to see how much effort goes into an expedition like this—porters, kitchen staff, climbing guides, mules, and even crew to bring livestock like chickens and goats.

K2 BC is a real adventure. ⛰️

Wildlife photography is something I never really got into before, being more into landscapes and hiking. But after spending time in Uganda, I have to say—this is by far the most fun type of photography I've ever done.

Where it all began 🏝️

I’ve spent the last month disconnecting and enjoying life on my favourite island on earth.

This is the place and I flew to after quitting our jobs in Australia in pursuit of long term travel in 2018.

Koh Tao holds a special place in my heart and it’s easy to see why so many people end up moving here. 🤿 🌴
