REAL ID Deadline Approaching

Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of identification (such as a passport) to FLY within the U.S.

What You Need to Know:
• Check your driver’s license. A star in the upper corner usually means it’s REAL ID-compliant.
• If it’s not, visit your local RMV/DMV to upgrade it.

You will need proof of identity, Social Security number, and two proofs of residency.

My biggest tip- IF you can do so, get your passport/passport card. This will allow you the ability to take domestic and International flights. Don’t wait until you suddenly need it. Valid for 10 years (children for 5).

Do you buy all new clothes for your trip? Do you plan out outfits by day and have multiple outfits per day? Do you pack an array of clothing from hot weather causal to dressy to warmer clothes for evenings?

I do a mix of buy and bring what I have. And I don’t go through it and finalize until the day before 🫣😂

Disney Update!

Lightning Lane Premier Pass Pilot Expands to all Guests

Beginning Jan. 21, Walt Disney World will expand the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all guests.

The booking window will be consistent with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, allowing guests to purchase this option in advance of their visit. Guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes for days they have valid theme park admission starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time on their first day of eligibility. This is the only update to Lightning Lane Premier Pass at this time, and the pass continues to be offered in very limited quantities.

Can we talk about hidden gems for a minute?

🏖️ That little tucked-away beach bar that’s only talked about by the locals.

🍴That lesser-known restaurant with a great sunset view and the best cocktails.

💁‍♂️That really great tour guide that’s a go-to by travel industry pros.

Hidden gems can take a good trip and make it truly memorable!

I also love hidden gems because:

1️⃣ They give me the opportunity to have unique and authentic experiences in the destinations I visit.

2️⃣ They often support local businesses and the local economy

3️⃣ They give me the opportunity to engage with locals and learn from them.

4️⃣ They are the gateway to memorable experiences that you can’t always plan for.

Right now, I’m working on an itinerary for clients to Ireland and naturally, it will include a few hidden gems I’ve personally discovered and learned from my partners in the destination.

Google is a great resource to start researching that getaway, but…

It’s not the be-all and end-all...

I spend hours and hours per day planning and coordinating trips for clients.

What I know goes beyond what you’ll find in a Google search.

That’s because I’m taking in new information about the destinations I specialize in every single day as I plan.

I’m having conversations with colleagues and connecting with my partners in the destinations.

Google doesn’t always know when a resort is under construction or if the rooms are a little bit dated.

That’s not to say you can’t rely on it.

But if you’d much rather:

✅ Have a second pair of eyes on your travel plans

✅ Want more dynamic travel suggestions and recommendations

✅ Want someone else to do the legwork so you can focus on other things

Whew! It’s been a bit since I talked travel agent bookings, but I’m still in the thick of them! I am working with friends and clients to get them the trip they are looking for and will search and research new destinations that I am not familiar with.

***Did you know:

✈️Most trips can be booked with just a deposit and payments over time?
✈️I do price comparisons against the competitors and often times can price match if they are lower than my suppliers! We often can find extra deals that you wouldn’t see as a consumer- Including extra on board credits on a cruise!
✈️ Personalized service is FREE. I get paid by the vendor (hotel, cruise, car rental company) and not you!
✈️ I am certified and focus on Disney, cruises, Hotel Chains, New Orleans, and more-but can book anything from car rentals to vacation villas, train tickets and beyond!

Just a few examples of things an online booking engine won't do for you 🙂
