Visit one of Mexico City's many parks, and you're likely to be greeted with a sight like this. Residents drop their dogs off with trainers during the day for dog school. I'm not sure how they keep a dozen+ dogs all lined up and relaxed like that! - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor

If you're in San Miguel de Allende, the Instituto Allende in the centro is a must-visit. The courtyard is relaxing in itself. There is a cute little outdoor cafe, as well as little art galleries. And you can even take art classes. And don't miss the murals on the back wall... - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor

How about a little mariachi music to help you kick off the weekend!? - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
When you think about street food in Mexico, tacos top the list. But you can also find delicious ice cream, with usual flavors like vanilla and chocolate but also local varieties like passionfruit. - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
Puerto Vallarta is famed for its beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and...fun nightlife options. This is a popular open air bar/restaurant in the heart of the Zona Romantica. Have you ever been? - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
Your Moment of Zen.
The small beach town of Lo de Marcos is pretty quiet in "low season." But come winter-time, it is a hopping snowbird destination. There are several full-service RV parks in town, including several right on the beach. It's about 1.5 hours drive north of Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's Pacific Coast, part of the Riviera Nayarit. - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
San Miguel de Allende, the picturesque colonial town in the highlands of central Mexico, has long been popular for destination weddings - and, after a hiatus, the weddings have returned! A traditional wedding activity here is to hire a local band to play lively dance music (similar to polka), as well as "mojigangas" representing the bride and groom. The whole wedding party will dance around the central plaza and on the street until they get to the place where the reception is being held. - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
A beautiful day in Puerto Vallarta - one of Mexico's premier Pacific coast beach towns. - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
Street musicians are common in Mexico. But it's not so common to see someone so accomplished playing accordion. I stayed and watched this fellow in Guanajuato for several minutes - and tipped well! - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
Tulum, on Mexico's Caribbean Coast, is best-known for its white-sand beaches and chic beach clubs and boutique hotels. But inland a few kilometers is Tulum town, a buzzing and vibrant place packed with restaurants, bars, shops, and the like.
Street performers are common here too - adds to the fun! If you'll notice these guys are literally performing in the street! - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
What is your favorite Mexican food? Hard for me to pick... but I'd say tacos al pastor is definitely in my top 5! - Jason Holland, IL Roving Latin America Editor
