I am super blessed I get to share my love of nature with the most amazing people. We get to share the beauty of nature, the joy of swimming with the dolphins, the excitement of getting to know each other and the gift of collectively falling more in love with the sea. On the road again! Costa Rica here we come! 😍🤙🏽Had a BLAST here in Baja, swam w Orca & S***m Whales & Mako & more, and also started kiteboarding! I normally travel the winter with a single carry-on backpack, but came to Baja with an extra bag, the one under my arm. I now leave with ANOTHER bag, the 6 foot long surfboard bag, filled with a set of 2nd (and 3rd) hand used kiting gear, in hopes of becoming a fully fledged kiter! So much for traveling light 🤪 Kiting was/is a steep learning curve for me, ever humbling, yet the flashes of exhiliration i have felt, racing across and with the waves, continues to pull me forward. I have had a fear of strong wind, and i am finding a fun way to ally myself with its vitality, freedom and power. So much to give thanks for... 🤩😍🥰🙏🏽❤

Swam with a pod of spotteds today, started out with 5 adults and a playful juvenile, then another adult and juvenile, then two mom and calf pairs... almost didn't go out, as it was windy and overcast. But i love being out on the sea, and got to spend quality time with these folks! The mom and calf pairs were so playful, kept putting me between them! Felt like an honorary uncle 😍🙏🏽🐬❤

200+ miles in the direction of the sunset, Hurricane Ian is in full force, blowing 155mph. Here in Bimini, between storm bands, the new moon looks down while waves crash, i watch in childlike wonder, the clouds and colors changing. Midnight last night, again between storm bands, i lay outside, skin tingling in the wind, thinking of those who cannot afford to 'evacuate', no place to go. As i prayed for them, and all those affected by this season's storms, wishing them support and solice, i was surprised by a quality and depth of compassion that filled and overflowed, limitless, boundless... i felt a collective sense of comfort, as if on some energetic level, a whole group of us were gathered in creation's arms... so sweet it was that again, tonight, now, i send prayers for those who are cold, hungry, wet, scared... may they, may i, may we all, feel the comfort of universal wellbeing...

Leela underwater! (This is a follow up to my last post, a video of Leela from the bow of my boat) Leela is so fun to swim with, she is often the first dolphin in a pod to race over and engage us. She loves diving down with us and swimming in spirals on the way back up. I love you Leela!!! 😍🥰❤💙🐬

Leela took a break from fishing to come over and say hello! We had a couple of sweet swims with her before she went back to chasing down hound fish and swallowing them whole! I get such a rush of excitement when i recognize Leela cause she is so often excited to play with us. I love you Leela!!! 🥰😍🐬

Went with Patrik and Martinka and family out to get dinner! Lobster season has opened in the Bahamas, the hunter/gatherer in me is happy, humble and in great appreciation to life and the sea ❤🤗🌎

Playing with Lila and her plastic scrap yesterday, she was playing on the surface with three other dolphins and when I got in, she raced around showing off her prize; a small piece of plastic trash. We swam together for awhile, heading north, and when the boat started looking small in the distance, that's when I turn around and head back. We played together a few times, then later at sunset I swam with a pod of six spotted dolphins for 20 minutes, all females! Very auspicious as I am working on a meditation for pregnant moms and dolphins, it felt like their show of support!

30+ dolphins today, so many familiar faces!!! Some super fun swims with them, time to start releasing the dolphin video footage!!! So stoked to be friends with these dolphins the past 26 years!!! 😍🥰❤❤❤

I am in the Church of Mother Nature... I am relaxing, praying, imagining and loving, and I just received the most beautiful inspiration; to create an audio meditation for pregnant moms who want to be in the ocean with wild dolphins 🐬 ... The first take is done, I just did it on the heels of the idea while under the same tree. I'm going to meditate on it more and get back to you. PS; if I sent you a rough copy of the first take, would you give me feedback?.?

Exumas to Bimini, overnight crossing in the 105' yacht. It was my first time crossing to Bimini from the east, leaving Norman Cay in the early afternoon, stopping for fuel in Nassau at sunset, then an overnight crossing past Mackie Shoal and the Vortex in the middle of the night. I slept under the stars on the top deck, watching the white navigation light on the tender we towed roll and sway as we rocked our way across the tongue of the ocean. The deep dark sea is unfathomable in my current state of awareness, I can only surrender to the depths and currents, allowing deeper mysteries move and come alive inside me... I am a tiny bit of seaweed, floating in her vastness...
