Well, 2025 is here, and my favorite way to kick off a new year is thinking about all of the new travel possibilities! Whether a big, once-in-a-lifetime trip to a destination an ocean away or a random, little day-trip somewhere only an hour or two drive away, I love it all.

Now, Walt Disney World will be one of my trip priorities in a year, even if I can only manage a quick visit, but did you know that Disney has destinations all around the world? Happy Birthday Walt!!!!! 🥳

In celebration of Walt Disney’s birthday today, guests visiting Epcot will (FINALLY) be able to visit Dreamers Point in the newly-opened World Celebration neighborhood. Yes, the construction walls are down!!!

A new statue, entitled “Walt the Dreamer”, is being unveiled as part of the redesigned area, and represents Walt later in his life when he was dreaming up the overall Florida Project and the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. He sits with a sense of fulfillment, enjoying the beauty of his realized dream: a park that represents pure optimism and truly celebrates the magic of possibility.

Can't wait to see it for myself in just a few weeks!!!

With Epcot finally coming out of its long redesign, now is a great chance to visit and take in everything that's been added to the park in the last few years. Contact me at [email protected] to get a free quote!

My Story

I can’t get enough of all things Disney, but the theme parks in particular have become a true passion of mine over the years, especially Walt Disney World. I was definitely raised Disney, and was lucky enough to visit Disney World a lot with my family as a kid. Now as a thirtysomething, watching fireworks over Cinderella Castle still gives me goosebumps,

proving that Disney vacations are special no matter how old you are. I have made adult-only trips to Disney World at least once a year for the last decade, have been to Disneyland half a dozen times, and even made it to Disneyland Paris! I definitely have a good collection of tips and tricks up my sleeve, and love to share any chance I get.

A Disney vacation is a magical experience that should be a lot of fun, whether you’re 7 or 70. But planning a Disney vacation can be daunting.

When is the ideal time to go? What hotel best fits my family’s needs? How do I get around on property? What are the not-to-be-missed attractions? How do I get FastPasses? Which characters are at which restaurants?
