This week's takes us to a bit of a hidden gem in Magic Kingdom. On our last trip, we needed a break from the heat and we were easily able to get a last minute reservation at Tony's Town Square Restaurant! Featuring a Lady and the Tramp theme, this restaurant serves pasta and other Italian favorites. The appetizers were the star of the show for us! We enjoyed the garlic bread with cheese sauce and the massive mozzarella sticks...the service was fantastic.

Welcome Foolish Mortals....did you know that a stand-by wait time of 13 minutes on The Haunted Mansion actually means the ride is a walk-on with no wait?? When you see that number pop up in the My Disney Experience app for wait times, RUN, don't walk and LOOK ALIVE!

Our crew did the Four Park, One Day Challenge on our last trip....the "rules" of our unofficial challenge were 1 ride, 1 snack, 1 Character meet, and 1 photo per park.

We spent over 15 hours, logged over 25,000 steps, 10+ miles, and used 3 modes of Disney transportation. This was such a fun twist for us and a new way to experience the parks!

We ended the day with a Cake Pop and a cold refresher from Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios!

We LOVE Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios! It can post some loooooong wait times though. Our favorite tips (without using Genie+) are to Rope Drop it OR get in line right before the park closes to ride...both of these will minimize wait times!

This week for we are focusing on one of the newest snacks to hit Walt Disney World! The mint cookie sandwich can be found at select locations throughout WDW. We got ours at The Confectionary in Magic Kingdom.

This treat features mint buttercream icing between two chocolate Mickey-shaped cookies. Our kids loved it and I'll admit it was pretty tasty! It is SWEET with a definite mint flavor....you might want to share with a friend!

If you decide to visit Disney Springs and have Lego lovers in your group, I HIGHLY recommend letting them create their own Mini-Fig. Reservations are recommended during busy times, but you can get lucky with walk up availability like we did! We went close to opening on a weekday and we're taken immediately. Participants can design their own Lego Mini-Fig and can ever draw their own designs for the shirt! It was a fun activity and a super cool souvenir!

Today's tip is one to help you stay organized and prepared for your next trip. I like to keep our travel essentials that we typically need for ANY trip (not just Disney) together in one location. Aside from luggage, we have a small bin that holds travel bottles, luggage scales, extra luggage tags, and more. Keeping these items together eliminates the last minute stress of rushing from room to room to find them!

Time for another post! This week we are showcasing our favorite breakfast location and character meal on property. Located on the top floor of Disney's Riviera Resort, Topolino's Terrace offers sweeping views of nearby resorts AND some of the parks. The food here is absolutely delicious and the character interactions are great! We love to enjoy breakfast and then hop on the SkyLiner to Epcot or Hollywood Studios! This is a must-do for our family!

Let's talk character interactions! We have had so many awesome meet and greets over the years. My tip is to purchase memory maker so that parents can be in the pictures too. You can also give your phone to a cast member and many times they will take pictures for you. We also love to have something for the characters to sign to keep as a souvenir!

If you are traveling with a member of your party who has mobility issues, don't stress! Disney is so accommodating to people in scooters and wheelchairs. We traveled with my mom a few years ago and she was able to experience so many attractions from her motorized scooter with her grandkids near by. Some rides do require you to transfer, but many allow you to ride in your scooter. Additionally, the Cast Members were always so patient with her and us!

Worried about rain on your trip? Don't be! Showers tend to move through the area quickly. Even if the rain is a bit sustained, my advice is to embrace it and look for the positives. The crowds will thin out dramatically, resulting in lower wait times for attractions. Pack a poncho and/or umbrella and let the kids splash in puddles! These were some of our favorite memories from this trip!!
