Today is National Cookie Day! There are soooo many good options of places to get cookies at Disney. My personal favorite is Gideon's Bakehouse at Disney Springs. The flavors rotate throughout the week and there is always a monthly special offering. My favorite tip is to go during hot cookie hour to get one of their chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven with or without homemade ice cream!

Did you know that today is National Christmas Lights Day? Walt Disney World starts putting up their Christmas decorations on Halloween night, after the park closes. Everything doesn't go up instantly, but the transformations starts to take place literally overnight. There is NOTHING like celebrating the Holiday Season at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Below is the tree at Animal Kingdom from last year.

It's Black Friday, and while I can't wave my magic wand to create a "deal" on your trip, I CAN add value by saving you time and energy! I will handle all of the details while you focus on what's important--your family! I will also constantly monitor your reservation for any applicable promotions and or offerings and apply them on your behalf. This week's comes with a word of warning....this summer Camden got a frozen drink in Epcot, which was delicious and a great way to cool down on a hot day. I honestly can't remember the flavor of the drink itself. The word of warning is the "edible flower" on top for decoration. Camden said just because you CAN eat it, doesn't mean you SHOULD eat it! 🤣

So many of you have asked about our trips so I thought I would post some details for any who may be interested! I'll be glad to answer any questions you have about it, so comment below!

I normally shop for flights out of Richmond, Norfolk, DC, and Raleigh. I am not loyal to any one airline and look around for a good deal on flights that work for me. I use Google Flights in an incognito browser tab or Hopper to search. I try and fly out early in the morning so I'm in the parks between 9 and 10. It's about a 2 hour flight for us. For the flight home, we choose a later one to maximize park time!

For park tickets, one day tickets are pretty steep. The truth is though, one day park tickets to any amusement park are pretty steep! Disney does utilize date based pricing, so ticket prices fluctuate. One day, one park tickets range from $110-$210 and one day park hoppers range from $190-$270. The last time we went, we did the one day park hoppers for around $225. We also opted to pay for Lightning Lane Multipass to minimize our time spent waiting in lines. This was $25 for Magic Kingdom. We started at Animal Kingdom, so it was $15 per person. There is no additional charge once you park hop.

We take an Uber from MCO to the parks, which is about $50-$60 each way. This is not the cheapest but is the quickest method.

Last time, we rode Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari, and saw Kevin at Animal Kingdom. We also stopped for a quick breakfast. After that we hopped to Magic Kingdom. We did a sit down lunch and rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Under the Sea, and Dumbo. We did have a few other Lightning Lanes lined up, but we opted to skip them so that we could shop for some souvenirs. We also met Captain Jack Sparrow, and enjoyed the fall decor!

It is always a blast and totally exhausting to do a whirlwind trip like this! I love doing it, but my husband said it doesn't sound fun to him at all LOL! To each his own!

One of our favorite things about the Disney Parks is the incredible attention to detail throughout each and every property. We love being able to spot new details and surprises on each and every trip! There are hidden mickeys all over the place on Disney property. Some are very obvious and others require looking at something from a different angle. Can you find the hidden mickey in this picture??
