Looks like a lovely event at Gumby Hall

Join us for 'Cake and Snowdrop Walks' from 10-16 February at 10.30 am everyday (except 11 February) and 1 pm on 14 and 16 February (Booking essential!).
Book this special one hour guided walk around the Gunby gardens before taking a cosy break in the Gunby tea-room complete with a hot drink and scrumptious piece of cake.
You're bound to spot lots of lovely snowdrops as you take the tour.
It's £11.50 per adult, £6.00 per child (including walk, hot drink, cake, house, and garden admission).
If you are a National Trust member it's £6.00 per adult and £5.00 per child. (Including walk, cake, hot drink, house, and garden admission).
We advise bringing a change of shoes if you wish to visit the house after the walk.

A trip to Donna Nook to see the seals. 🦭
I can’t believe I haven’t been here before, this is definitely somewhere we will be visiting annually now. I could of stayed for hours watching them all and we would of stayed longer if Stanley wasn’t being a typical toddler.
It took us just under an hour to get here from Coley Cottage

When speaking with our guests we often recommend places or listen to where they have been. It reminds us of the wonderful places near to us and helps us to appreciate the greatness that Lincolnshire is!

How have you spent your Good Friday?

A trip to the donkey sanctuary for us is just a 30 minute drive. There one of my favourite animals so I’m forcing my love of donkeys on Stanley. I think it’s clear to see he’s a fan.

World sleep day 💤💤

I have just found out it’s world sleep day! I don’t need an excuse for an early night but if I did this is the perfect one!
One thing just as good as an early night to me is not having the alarm set for the morning ⏰ even better when your in holiday mode

We went to visit today for a waffle and to see the animals after a trip to see my favourite animal at the with some of our friends.
This was so yummy!! I couldn’t decide what flavour so had 50/50. Bounty and kinder bueno. Stanley enjoyed his icecream and cone ( and some of mine). We will definitely have to come back to try some other flavours.
We fed the alpacas, goats and sheep whilst there. ( I’m sure Stanley’s favourite animal is either a goat or a donkey)

Wren desserts is just under 9 miles away from Coley cottage with the donkey sanctuary only another 2 miles down the road

A few pictures from earlier this month when we visited Claythorpe watermill.

We sat by the river and had lunch (I can highly recommend the quiche) and then walked round. Anyone that knows me knows I’m not keen on birds so felt super proud of myself walking through the birds. Stanley loved seeing all the animals and feeding the ducks.

Anyone that knows me knows that donkeys are one of my favourite animals and I love that Stanley loves visiting them and feeding them as much as I do!
With Radcliffe donkey sanctuary only a 20 minute drive from us it means we get to visit often and it’s somewhere I would recommend ours guests take a visit too😊

I love being near a beach and enjoy a walk along the seafront in both summer and winter months.

Lovely afternoon at the medieval tournament at the heavy horse centre watching vaulting, aerial acrobatics and and a birds of prey demonstration. We enjoyed watching all of the performances however we do love feeding the goats
