Such a complex system managing geometry, loads, temperatures, tolerances and multiple manufacturing methods and suppliers. A very proud moment for me this morning in Paris. We've been hunting a Gold Medal at the Olympics on one of our bikes since the Pista Evo 2 in London 2012.

The Pista Team, Pista Team Sprint and Pista Team Pursuit were launched in Rio 2016 with the Men's Sprint Team missing out on Gold by 0.1s in the Final. Cycling NZ raced them again in Tokyo 2020 and now in Paris 2024.

There have been a number of World Championships, Olympic medals, Commonwealth Games Gold medals for the bikes but never an Olympic Gold. The last Gold for NZ in the velodrome being in Athens in 2004.

Ellesse Andrews you have made us very proud rounding out the story of these bikes last night in the Women's Keirin with Gold on the Pista Team or as we called it Project Cambridge.

We've also been working on getting the Race Lab V8 engine design and mounting together. We've developed new gear covers and cam covers to hard mount the engine in the chassis.

Heaps going on with the Race Lab E21 DTM/GT3 build. The centre body being prepared for moulds, front beams and suspension fabricated and 3d printed parts all being test assembled for checking.
