Rise of the Resistance is OPEN and receiving phenomenal reviews! Here's what you need to know to ride it successfully. (This is subject to change at any time, with or without any notice.)

Disney's Hollywood Studios has been opening BEFORE it's published open time. Don't wait until park opening to show up, it's TOO late. You won't be able to ride!⠀
⠀
✨Arrive at least 2 hours prior, 3 is even better. Typical opening time is 9 am, check the daily park hours on your My Disney Experience account. This means arrival between 6 am and 7 am to get a chance to ride Rise of the Resistance.⠀

✨ There are NO Fast Passes for Rise of the Resistance!⠀
⠀
✨ There is NO standby line for Rise of the Resistance! ⠀
⠀
✨ The ONLY way to ride Rise of the Resistance (currently) is with a Boarding Group aka the virtual queue.⠀
⠀
Here's how it works:⠀
⠀
• Once you’re are inside the gates of Hollywood Studios, open up the My Disney Experience app. ⠀
⠀
• You MUST be inside Hollywood Studios to be able to join a Boarding Group. ⠀
⠀
• On the main page, you'll see info to join a Boarding Group - THIS is the virtual queue to ride Rise of the Resistance.⠀
⠀
• You will be given a boarding group number. When your group is being called to board the ride you'll get a notification or you can check the app to see which group is currently boarding.

• Got a boarding group that likely won’t be able to ride until late afternoon or early evening? You may leave the park and come back later.
⠀
• Once your group is called you have up to 2 hours to arrive back at Rise of the Resistance. ⠀
• As of today, Boarding groups have been fully filled within an hour of the early park opening time! ⠀
⠀
• EVERYONE in your traveling party MUST be inside the gates of Hollywood Studios to join the boarding group.⠀
⠀
• Make sure everyone you want to ride with is linked to your My Disney Experience account prior to arrival. ⠀
⠀

Reservations are now open for Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop, and Droid Depot in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I am going to have one happy little boy when he learns that not only did we score Cantina reservations, but he is also going to be able to build his own droid!

Someone is getting a princess makeover... and no, it’s not me 😆👸🏻

My daughter informed me that she did in fact actually want an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (after months of telling me she didn’t!) These reservations can be hard to get even at 180 days out, and here we are 117 days until our next trip “home”.

After breaking out in a sweat and hyperventilating just a bit, this mama was able to snag one of the most coveted reservations in Disney World for my little princess 👸🏼

Rise of the Resistance (the second attraction in Galaxy’s Edge) will open at Walt Disney World on December 5, 2019. It will open in Disneyland on January 17, 2020.

Something we strongly encourage to all clients with children is to either bring or rent a stroller for their vacation. Disney is HUGE and involves massive amounts of walking each day... even big kids get tired. Heck, even I’m exhausted at the end of the day.

My family exclusively rents our strollers from Kingdom Strollers. The stroller is always waiting for us at our resort when we arrive and when our trip is over, we leave it with bell services and Kingdom Strollers picks it up. Easy Peasy. The company is extremely responsive to messages should you have any questions and all strollers are in excellent condition.

We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Reserving some additional magic for your Walt Disney World vacation just became a whole lot easier. It is now possible to make reservations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, The Pirate’s League, and Harmony Barber Shop online- you no longer have to call.

Soon, Disney Resort hotel guests and new and renewing Annual Passholders will have the option to upgrade, at a discounted price, from a complimentary solid-color MagicBand to one of more than 30 new MagicBand options featuring favorite Disney characters and designs. These new MagicBand options will be available for pre-arrival purchase at a special price of $10.00 (that’s $14.99 off retail cost) through the My Disney Experience website.

Breaking News: Disney announced Extra Extra Magic Hours for resort guests ahead of the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opening at Disney World.

Daily from Sept. 1-Nov. 2, the park will have Extra, Extra Magic Hours from 6-9 a.m., including Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, plus Toy Story Land attractions and select other attractions. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and its experiences subject to capacity.

Please note that as of right now Hollywood Studios has a planned 6am opening for all guests between August 29-31.

There is a new Signature Celebration Package hitting Magic Kingdom this August, and reservations are now open.

Enjoy dinner with your favorite princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom followed by priority viewing of Happily Ever After fireworks. When the fireworks end you will be escorted to another location to indulge in delicious dessert party.

Prices aren’t cheap and will set you back
$199 per adult and $169 per child.
Separate theme park admission is required and not included in the package price.

Planning a vacation to Disney is all fun and games until the website crashes. Imagine you are up at 6am to book your dining reservations when all of a sudden the website is down. You have no idea how to fix it, if your reservations were saved, or when the site will be back up. Suddenly your morning is an absolute nightmare.

The new guide helps guests easily identify items free from animal meat and common animal products that many vegans avoid, including dairy, eggs, and honey.
