If you're here, you're probably upset about something Kohl's has done, probably related to their asinine Loss Prevention, Finance, or Fraud policies (just go to Kohl's FB page to read stories of frisked mothers and children), so you've almost certainly been embarrassed, made to feel like a criminal, or possibly just shocked into disbelief at some other ridiculous thing this company has done. Fortu
nately, there are plenty of ways you can feel empowered, and take matters into your own hands. Write down your story, report it to the BBB, to the attorney general of your state (if you think what they did was criminal, or if you feel they owe you money), or even to your local newspaper. Get attention, and make them apologize to you. You'll likely be hard pressed to get an apology, but let them know they can't push you around. Write your complaint to the Better Business Bureau... http://odrcomplaint.bbb.org/odrweb/public/NewComplaintForm.aspx?Qualified=y&BBBID=76&BusinessID=13000007
2. Write your complaint to corporate at Kohl's. My only experience is that the one executive I wrote didn't respond to my complaint, but you may have better luck. Office of the President (or another executive's name)
Kohl's
N56W17000 Ridgewood Dr
Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
The executives you can find here: http://www.kohlscorporation.com/pressroom/PressRoom02G.htm
3. Do you feel like you were defrauded, or Kohl's owes you money? Write a complaint to your state's attorney general. You can easily find who your state's attorney general is by searching the web. Just search for "attorney general [state name]". Write your letter directly to their office address, or if they have an online form, you can write it there.
4. Did you get to Kohl's through an affiliate program, or through your bank? If so, make sure your bank knows how they referred you to a company that screwed you. Call your bank up, find the department that handles these kinds of complaints, and let them know how you feel. Alternatively, find the corporate address of your bank, and write them directly. This page will be updated with more info later, and as particular complaints need addressing, or special assistance. If you need help finding a resource, message us. PHONE NUMBERS:
