I just heard that today is national “Plan a vacation” day! ✈️🌎🌴🌵🌊

One of my favorite destinations I’ve been to has been Ghent, Belgium 🇧🇪 I took this image on top of the Gravensteen castle 🏰 I can’t wait to visit here again one day!

I’m off to Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸 next over spring break! It cant get here fast enough!!

While walking through Bruges, we passed what seemed to be endless alleyways of people’s homes. What I absolutely loved about it, was ALL the unique doors! We saw so many colors, shapes and textures, and they were each so different from the next! {Swipe through to see some of the doors} 🚪

I found it so very charming, and I could have spent all day just seeking out + photographing fun doors!

One even had a smaller door next to the main door (maybe for a cat?) 🐈 I’d like to think so!

Happy New Year everyone!!! 🎉

2024 was AMAZING for our family, as we travelled to Brazil 🇧🇷 so our boys could finally meet their Brazilian family and see where their father grew up! We had the absolute BEST time!!! I highly recommended traveling to Brazil if you ever get the opportunity! 🌴

👉Important Update on my Refined Retreats business: I was in the process of creating my new business for women’s international retreats this year. After MUCH thought and advice, I’ve decided to put it in the backseat for now and move in a new EXCITING direction!

👉As of yesterday, I was accepted as an independent Travel Advisor! ✈️ 🌎
I am over the moon EXCITED for this incredible opportunity!!!! 💕 I will soon be able to help you with booking amazing hotels and other things, at no cost to you! 🙌 More to come on that as I work through some of the trainings over the next couple of weeks.

My hope is to specialize in European destinations and other unique + charming places, but I can help with any travel spots! If you are considering a trip in 2025/2026, reach out and I’ll add you to my list!

👯‍♀️ My ladies who were interested in going on one of my international retreats - my plan is to still take a “girls” trip each year somewhere in Europe and I’d love to have a maximum of 4 of us (so me + 3 more). It will be more relaxed and collaborative between us, but I’ll be able to book our hotels..etc through my system to get us the best deals and find some amazing places! 💕 My plan is still to travel around France 🇫🇷 🥐 this year, between June - Sept if anyone has a serious interest in going with me, reach out and we can start to plan together!

Monuments

Paris has many shopping options, including the Champs Élysées, where you can find big designers, and the boutiques in Le Marais.

Paris has a rich culinary scene, including fine dining, French pastries, and delicious food and wine.

Arts and fashion
Paris is also known for its vibrant arts and fashion scene.

Atmosphere
Paris has its own unique atmosphere, and has been romantically represented in many movies, books, shows, and art, contributing to its reputation as the “City of Love”

Brazil 🇧🇷 I’m home from my family vacation and on the computer back to work!

We had the most amazing time in Brazil seeing family, showing the boys where their father grew up, and a little about their heritage. It was the BEST experience for them and they absolutely LOVED it!!! 💕

I don’t plan on doing retreats here, but I just wanted to share a few images I took around the historic village of Paraty in the state of Rio de Janeiro, which sits along the beautiful coastline. The landscape is just stunning there! 😍

Slow, intentional travel so you can really get a feel for each charming destination.

Strolling through cobblestone streets, stopping in unique shops, tasting the local cuisine, biking through the countryside, seeing historic wonders as you step back in time, and most importantly taking that time out for yourself to rest and recharge.

When we were in Paris this past September, we found such wonderful places to eat. Of course the wine is always good, but the roast chicken and pomme frites (French fries) were out of this world! And you can never pass on trying the burrata, am I right? 🤤

A snippet of our time in Paris! 🇫🇷 Since we only had a day and a half, and it was the boy’s first time in Paris, we wanted them to see some of the most iconic “Paris” things, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Lourve.
