We are giving all our supporters the opportunity to join our study first-hand. Every few weeks throughout our study period (July-December), we'll send a video recap of what's been captured by our cameras as well as other behind the scenes updates.

If you've ever wanted to be a part of a research project focused on biodiversity in the jungle, this is your chance to join us!

We want to thank all of our supporters thus far. We are over 50% funded, and while we aren't there yet we are optimistic that more will join this exciting project to document the rainforest wildlife living in this threatened ecosystem.

In the rainforests of Costa Rica there is a relationship that doesn’t happen anywhere else on the planet. The film tells the story of the relationship between the machaca, a vegetarian fish, and the diverse forest. The feeding behavior and fishing techniques can be easily identified by trout fishermen the world over, but the machaca’s aggressive takes and exotic characteristics make them an adversary all their own. This film will introduce a species completely new and unique to the global fly fishing community in a light, fun, and adventurous fashion.
