1. The people have spoken and the officers have heard you: There will be an exciting election for the presidency of U-Croquet in one month, on Tuesday, June 9. Natalie "Wildfire" Cooper and incumbent Josh "Jackhammer" Freeman will be running for president, so keep an eye out as we share their campaign links/content on this page and via email.
If you would like to run for president as well, or challenge Lucien "The So-Lucien" Briscoe's position as Vice President, please send a message to us or Commissioner Doran Briscoe.

We're pleased to announce the fourth and newest affiliated branch of the CCF, OH-Croquet! After officers ratified its formation at the Croquet Court over the weekend, Gretchen "The Skeans Striker" Skeans was appointed to take its helm as President. OH-Croquet will cover Croqueteers in Ohio and is set to commence activity this coming fall.

to the late 1800's, when croquet gained a bad reputation for the immoral activities often associated with playing, such as drinking, gambling, and philandering.
According to "Living Age" magazine in 1898, "The game is the gaping jaw of Hades. It would be well if the enthusiasm of the clergy and laity were enlisted for suppressing the immoral practice of croquet."
Indeed, clergy in Boston banned the game, and other towns followed suit in pulling against the 'wicket-ness' known as croquet.

Attention St. Louis Croqueteers: Because of a number of factors, we will be postponing the St. Louis Arch Tourney one week, so it will now take place on Saturday, August 2 instead. But for anyone interested, you can still join the taskforce headed to as we play croquet on the state capitol lawn in Jefferson City. We will be leaving mid-afternoon on Sat. 7/26 and returning at night- comment if you plan on coming. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!
