One of my favorite photos in Porto! 👀

📍Photo Location: These "stairs to nowhere" can be found off a sidewalk on Passeio das Fontainhas.

Story Time: While hunting for *that* perfect photogenic spot, we stumbled upon a mysterious staircase to nowhere, blocked by a tiny gate. Naturally, we stood there, dazed, confused, and plotting an elaborate way around it... until a construction worker casually walked over and just opened the gate for us. 🤦‍♀️

It was unlocked the whole time. Classic tourist moment! 🤣

We didn't want to trustpass or be disrespectful so we didn't touch the gate but I guess it's just there so you dont literally fall down the stairs. Who knew 🤷‍♂️
