"In nearly 30 years of publishing Kids on the Cape, this is the first issue that will not go to print. But in the hopes that we can continue to help families and businesses of the Cape— and in effort to retain a sense of normalcy whenever possible— we have published our Spring issue online. It is our hope that our readers near and far will be able to enjoy our Spring issue from the safety of their homes….

We’ve spent the last few weeks gathering information to help families (on and off the Cape) during this time. We’ve doubled the size of our recommended children’s book section, added tips for social distancing with kids, plus advice on how to get your kids started in the kitchen and the garden. We’ve also compiled a fantastic list of free (and fun!) resources for keeping kids busy and educated during this stay-home season.

While this time brings many challenges and moments of despair, we have been awed and inspired watching Cape Codders support each other. From local businesses halting their normal production to make masks, to restaurants feeding those in need, and individuals helping neighbors and friends. We are continually moved by the tight-knight nature of our community, and the tenacity of those who call the Cape home. This time proves again and again that we can get through anything when we support one another. To borrow the words of John F. Kennedy Jr., a rising tide does indeed lift all boats.”

The Cape Cod Inflatable Water Park is a great place to spend the day!

It's going to be a great day for some Cape Cod Inflatable Park fun! With lots of water slides, dry slides, mini golf, an arcade, bounce houses, and much more, the kids are sure to have a blast! We're at 518 Main St. on Route 28 in West Yarmouth. Hope to see you soon!
