🌿 Day 2 Recap: Accessible Nature Training for All 🌿

On March 29, 2025, Cooperativa Dafne hosted an exciting second day of our training event for , focusing on practical experiences for people with different disabilities.

🦽 Morning: Joelette excursion for individuals with motor and visual disabilities, guided by trained volunteers from CAI Sezione Ligure-Genova and Arenzano.

🍴 12:30 PM: Lunch break – A chance for all participants to connect and share experiences.

🧠 Afternoon: A hike tailored for individuals with cognitive and psychological disabilities, focusing on sensory experiences (touch, sound, and smell). Participants used AAC techniques to enhance communication along the trail.

✨ DIANA Inclusive Outdoor Experience in Genoa! ✨

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent workshop, designed to promote and in natural areas, co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union.

📅 March 20, 2025 - Genova (at Cooperativa Condiviso)
Our workshop for Environmental Hiking Guides and related professionals was a great success, featuring:
• Theoretical guide on joelette operation - CAI Sezione Ligure-Genova
• Outdoor experience with Chiara Giordani & Lorenzo Pagnoni
• Disability language insights - Diego Longinotti
• Alternative communication tools - Elisa Succio
• Sensory disability insights - Eleonora Villa
• Online training with KOAN Consulting on the DIANA Toolkit- A valuable session for deeper insights and practical learning

We look forward to our upcoming full day of outdoor activities for people with motor/sensory and cognitive/psychic disabilities:

📅 March 29, 2025 - Genova
• ⛺ 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Joelette excursion starting at Righi Heliport, ending at Parco delle Mura picnic area (3.5 hours)
• ☕ 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch break (free for participants)
• 🌿 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Hike along Via delle Baracche, exploring the beautiful Sentiero delle Farfalle and arriving at Forte Puin.

A huge thank you to all participants, guides, and organizers for making this first workshop such a memorable and impactful experience. We can’t wait to see you at the next event!

The 3rd Transnational Partnership Meeting for the DIANA Project – Developing Inclusive and Accessible Natural Areas is happening in the breathtaking Sierra de Guadarrama! 🌿🏔️

From February 27-28, 2025, partners from Italy, North Macedonia, and Spain are gathering to discuss accessibility, sustainability, and in natural environments.
