✨🚆🏰👴🍽️✨ There’s not much cooler than visiting the OG park except maybe visiting the OG park and then resting your head at the OG resort. I’m just not sure any Disneyland vacation is complete without at least spending some time falling in love with the Disneyland Hotel. Whether you are staying in one of their adorably themed rooms, sliding down the monorail themed water slide or having a fun character breakfast at Goofy’s Kitchen, this resort will not disappoint. I know for East Coast Pals, Disneyland can be a lot to wrap your head around. What questions do you have about visiting the OG?

🍿🥤🥨🧁Calories don’t count in Disney! (I hope if I say that enough that one day it will actually ring true.) What kind of park goer are you? Do you stick to just the three square meals or do you leave some room in there to snack your way around the property? (Like at the new Ice Cold Hydraulics in Hollywood Studios-don’t mind if I do have an icy cold Coke and some cinnamon churro goodness!)

🎉🇲🇽🎉 Happy Cinco de Mayo, amigos! If you’re craving some authentic Mexican flavors today or ANY day, EPCOT’s La Hacienda de San Angel is where it’s at! This gem often gets passed over for its sister restaurant, San Angel Inn inside the Mexico pyramid, but it is an absolute treasure to dine at, especially during the Luminous show. Chips, salsa, guacamole AND fireworks? An unbeatable combo and a very welcome way to end a long day in the parks! 💃🏻

🥰🦏🥰🦏 I don’t want to just save all the rhinos, I want to hug on all of them! Is there a more adorable horned, rough skinned animal out there?! (No.) How likely are you to do a tour at Animal Kingdom to get closer to these chubby unicorns? 🦄

🌳🦏🦒🐘🦍The focal point of Animal Kingdom is obviously animals (duh) but what is YOUR favorite element of the park? Is it the animals on the safari and trails? Or do you love the chance for up close and more personal behind the scenes tours? OR do the animals take a backseat as you race to the coolest attractions like Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest? 🎢

Am I the only one that thought, “hair ties?” What is it about Expedition Everest that makes everyone want to toss out perfectly good hair ties? It’s Florida, folks, you are going to need those!

PS Don’t do this….Disney does not support you throwing your hair ties.

🌟🧞‍♂️🌟It’s World Wish Day! If you ever made a wish at Disney or Universal parks by throwing a coin in one of the many fountains and waterways, I sure hope your wish came true. But I wonder if you know that your coins help to secure wishes for children in need of extra pixie dust. Both Disney and Universal periodically collect and donate all the coins to children’s charities. ⛲️

🤳😃 Sure, there’s fandom surrounding the princesses and the classic beloved characters at Walt Disney World & Disneyland, but the kid in me REALLY comes out when I’m face to face with a Marvel character. From a kid reading the comics to falling in love with the Marvel Universe Avengers movies , it is hard to not GEEK out when you see them. Which character would you HAVE to take a selfie with?

1️⃣ 🥏🏍️🌐 If there’s one thing you need to know about TRON Lightcycle/Run it is that you can’t simply wait in line to ride it. You heard that right, there is no standby line. There are two ways to “enter the grid” and both require the use of the My Disney Experience app. Here are your options:

📱Virtual Queue: For most guests, there will be two opportunities to join a virtual queue-one in the morning and in the afternoon. It’s competitive and fills up in nanoseconds. You need fast fingers, luck and tips.

⚡️Individual Lightning Lane: You can buy your way on, which is more likely to be available but again, it’s not guaranteed. The cost can also add up real quick.

🪄✨👑 Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother taught us that a lot can change with a makeover, beautiful dress, and the right shoes! At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique your littles, ages 3-12, can get the royal treatment with a variety of makeover packages including makeup and nails, up-do hair styles and dresses. Snagging an appointment at Walt Disney World, Disneyland or on a Disney Cruise can be VERY competitive.

🎉🎠🌂🍽️ When I heard 1900 Park Fare was FINALLY reopening after more than four years my first question was, “Is the Strawberry Soup returning?” 🍓(It is!) Although there will be some slight menu and character changes, this prime location character meal favorite has been sorely missed. I will forever be nostalgic for dinner with Drizella and Anastasia but as long as the soup is there, count me in. How do you feel about the changes coming to this fan favorite dining locale?🫣

🌍🐐🔬✍️🚂 You may be tempted to pass on visiting the Conversation Station because it requires that you take the Wildlife Express train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. That all may sound time consuming, a little confusing and maybe, dare I say, boring. BUT, you would be missing out on experiencing the literal heartbeat of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and making lasting memories. Here, you can actually touch animals at the Affection Section, peek at veterinarians treating animals in exam rooms, watch as nutrition experts prepare meals, get your fill of reptiles and invertebrates, see what Disney scientists are currently working on, ask the experts anything, AND learn how to draw a Disney character. How’s that for edutainment?

🚂✍️🌳 Even if you can’t draw a straight line, I bet you a Dole Whip you can draw a beloved animated Disney character in just about 30 minutes. Many guests miss it, but over at Conservation Station at Animal Kingdom there is a FREE character drawing class. ✨There is some definite Disney magic involved, and you won’t believe what you will be able to accomplish in this artist led class. The class is appropriate for any age, and trust me when I say sometimes the kiddos do better than the adults. Doesn’t this sound like a great break for tired park feet? 😅

🍌😵‍💫🍌😂 Minion mania has swept Universal Studios, and in the nick of time! This much needed burst of color and humor has revived a once kind of dreary area of the park. There’s great themed quick service food fun, CAKE POPS, a new interactive attraction, merch and characters ready for their villainous close-up! On a scale of zero to five bananas, how excited are you to check out the new Minion Land at Universal? 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌

🚢📍🗺️A big part of a cruise vacation are your port days. To get off the ship or not, THAT is the question. Sailings are fantastic ways to see many different locations all in one vacation. However, if you’ve been feeling like you haven’t been able to explore the ship as much as you’d like during your days at sea, here’s your chance! ☕️🦒JAMBO! Back in 2001 we said “Jambo” to Animal Kingdom Lodge and resort stays like we had never seen before! Having your morning coffee in your Florida resort while looking out across a savanna and seeing GIRAFFES seems crazy, but Disney did it! Every inch of this resort feels authentic, welcoming and special.

🧇Does the Boma breakfast buffet call to you? Or do you want to sit in a cozy lobby chair and just let your cares melt away? 🤩 What is YOUR favorite part of visiting this unique and WILDLY Disney resort?

🧺🥵 Maybe you’re now wearing a little bit of that PB&J milkshake from 50’s Prime Time Cafe or perhaps decided to beat the airline baggage fee and only packed three shirts in a carry on for a 7 day vacation in August. Either way, the laundry facilities at Walt Disney World Resort hotels come in handy and they are pretty high-tech. Everything you need can be purchased from a vending machine, you can pay with a card (no quarters needed) and monitor your laundry via the LaundryView app.

💎🚢🍾🎊 We’re only 9 months away from the inaugural sailing of the newest ship in Disney’s fleet, the Disney Treasure. Of course, we have no pictures as it’s not complete yet, but let’s talk about some things we do know:

💎For all of 2025 (at least) it will be a 7 night sailing departing from Port Canaveral with a choice of Eastern or Western Caribbean itineraries.

💎It will NOT stop at the newest Disney private island, Lighthouse Point, but will stop at Castaway Cay on both itineraries

💎It will feature so many details, elements and themes from the parks and films

💎Worlds of Marvel and 1923 will join the new Plaza de Coco as the three rotational dining restaurants

🌼🌿🌸 The FOOD is usually the focus of EPCOT festivals, but let me tell you about some gems you may not know about at EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival.

🌳 The topiaries aren’t exactly a hidden gem, but they are AMAZING and each year there’s a few new creations
🌽The Living with the Land attraction has added Disney story inspired scenes throughout the boat ride
🛝The Get Out and Play Garden is a play area for little ones to get out the wiggles while you enjoy that yummy food
🎸 The Garden Rocks concerts at the American Gardens Theater are no extra cost and will WOW you
🎨 Catching a Cast Member making familiar designs from foliage on the ground is a core memory in the making

🦄🏍️🎢 🧙‍♂️You know when an attraction is so epic everyone and their unicorn wants their chance to ride? That’s Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. No joke, it’s as popular as frozen Butterbeer on a summer afternoon. What makes getting on so tricky is that it’s not included in Universal’s Express Pass. So you’ve got to wait in line and it gets LONG. (Unless perhaps if you’re on a VIP tour, but that’s a conversation for another day.)

🇮🇹🍽️🍝🍕🥗 We talk so much about the hundreds of dining options at Walt Disney World, and the West Coast gets a bit of the cold shoulder sometimes. Time to say, “Ciao” to Naples Ristorante in Downtown Disney. Two words: Free.Bread. (Which is my Italian restaurant love language.) This laid-back, authentic Italian restaurant is the perfect way to end an action packed theme park day and laze your way around Downtown Disney. For my WDW frequent fliers, I know Disneyland dining can be a pretty daunting subject. What questions do you have when it comes to the Disneyland dining hot spots?

🐀🧀🇫🇷 Leave it to Disney to get us all hyped up to celebrate a rat. Of course I mean Remy from “Ratatouille” and the area of the France pavilion in EPCOT dedicated to the film. This place is not just about the ride, it’s like stepping into a live action version of the movie! Walking around you’ll spot all sorts of cool nods to the film and oh so many details! And the food? Délicieux! I like to imagine Little Chef himself is in the La Crêperie kitchen whipping up his signature dishes. 🥘

Don’t listen to the negative nellies that say Universal Orlando isn’t kid friendly. Things of ALL sizes will want to play (and eat) all day at the whimsical Seuss Landing. Favorite stories come to life, treats that seemed too silly for the real world are there for the feasting in delicious ways and you won’t be able to whip the mile long silly grin off your faces.
