We knew Dwayne Johnson was going to be continuing in the roll of Maui but until now didn't know who would be playing the adventurous Moana.

Disney has just recently announced that Catherine Laga’aia has been cast in the lead role of Moana in the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the beloved animated film. At only 17 years old, the Sydney, Australia native will be stepping into a massive role as Moana.

Set to hit theaters on July 10, 2026.

In 2019 the first construction walls went up for the Epcot overhaul. Today it is complete! The walls are down. Can't wait to not have to go around a jigsaw puzzle on my next visit!
