The International Sound Symposium A two-day conference that introduces audio equipment, training, strategies and techniques to the faith based community to enhance the worship experience.

This year we welcome 24 distinguished experts on our interactive panels discussing the following topics:


Digital vs Analog Consoles
-Discussing the difference between the two and the benefits of one over the other based on specific needs of each church or venue location. Learn about the built in processing when it comes to digital as well as scene memory as opposed to conventional analogue pro

cessing. Also discussed why size and cabling are a major issue facing different usages. Microphones, Processing, and Tuning a Room
-Discusses the best microphones, processing units, and direct boxes to use. Also discusses how and where they should be positioned, to establish the best quality of sound by analyzing and equalizing the room. Learn how and why acoustics play a major role in tuning the room and the specifics of amplifiers and speakers. Engineering and What it's Really About
-Discusses how engineering is connected to all areas of sound. A highly interactive panel that will answer many common questions regarding engineering and individually identify key areas of improvement for all attendees. Monitoring The Stage
-This discussion will help to develop a better understanding of what pastor’s, praise and worship leaders, and musicians want to hear out of their monitors. Learn how to create the desired mix for each with the use of personalized mixers, powered monitors, unpowered monitors and headphones.
