We are in the middle of our rainy season but the rains are a bit disorganised this year. The north is having floods with rivers bursting banks and the south is having drought. Travel News Around Zambia December 2018 Above is the Knife Edge Bridge which crosses between the two precipices opposite the Falls. Zambezi River reaches critical level

The Zambezi River could reach the high maximum flood level of 7m or even surpass it if the good rains that have been experienced in the past weeks continue,
the Hydrological Services of Namibia warned this week.
Head of Hydrological Services, Pauline Mufeti, told the Windhoek Observer that the Zambezi River had reached 6.53m on Thursday and was still rising.
“The Zambezi River levels are rising. If it continues then we will have a serious problem. We are expecting it to continue rising for the next 10 days,” Mufeti said.
