Euro beer run 2014, day 1: 4:30am wake up for San Diego - Newark - Stockholm - Vienna - Podgorica flight. Montenegro met me with some heavy showers but the drive to the coast through the cloud-covered mountains was majestic

Let's play a game! Say, purely hopethetically, you spent days putting a trip together, hours on the phone booking the tickets, AND you even called the airline a week before the flight to ensure everything was in order and had a seat preassigned. Then you show up at the airport and they tell you that they overbooked and instead of your reserved and assigned business class seat, you will now be riding 5.5 hours in economy (while we are at it, let's also pretend you are 6'8" and this means that your knees will literally be embedded in the seat in front of you). There are no appologies, no options for later flights and the only compensation they offer is $110. Think you would take it? you are encouraged to play along.
