Orlando Day 2 & 3 were spent in our resorts wave pool, lazy river, pirate ship water park, morning walks, arcade plays, lots of food and an awesome day enjoying Coco Beach!

It’s been a hot minute since I have played in the ocean and jumped the waves, and let me tell ya…it was a blast!

Pro tips:

👟 invest in a pair of water shoes! Mine looked just like a pair of tennis shoes (fashion improvement from my last pair). The sand was hot but the shoes saved me and also saved my feet while jumping the waves. Forgot how rough the sand and broken shells 🐚 were…and sharp, ouch! But with the water shoes I had no problems! Definite must!

🏖️ Rent beach chairs and umbrella if staying longer than a few hours - so worth it having some shade to sit under!

🥗 🍹 Grab a salad, burger or chicken fries on the pier! The food was amazing and service was impressive!

We stopped at a local discount store on our way to the beach and bought some pails and shovels for the kids! Best $8 investment that we donated to another family at the end of the week!

Ummm, queue in excitement vibes because I will actually be back at Universal Orlando Resort October 8-15th!

I am a huge Wicked fan, read all the books, been to the Broadway production several times, and now to have exclusive experiences and merch…yes, please and thank you!!!

Our first day in Orlando was a success! Leaving the house at 5am, packing up 2 littles ages 2 and 5, loading car seats, strollers, plane snacks, pull-ups, iPads with pre-loaded movies, headphones, blankies, favorite stuffed animals, making sure the adults stayed on schedule…it was a big hit!

Planning ahead and communicating the schedule and expectations was key to our successful early morning travels to the airport, checking in, getting through security, picking up the rental car and checking into our resort, because we did have a plan.

I am mostly a planner by nature, (weird, I know, being a travel agent and all, 😆), and travel days I feel much more confident maneuvering through all of the hoops when there is a plan with wiggle room for any mishaps, unplanned traffic, airport crowds, wardrobe malfunctions, etc.

But once we arrived at our resort we threw caution to the wind, didn’t unpack, and ran to the pool!

I highly recommend on travel days, if you can, to throw in an activity that the whole family can enjoy! It sets the stage for the rest of your vacation!

No planning needed or schedules for the pool, just pure fun!

You all know how I love me some cruise time, and I'm so excited it's going to get even better! Queue in travel agent goosebumps!

Disney just announced at their D23 event that there will be four new ships coming to their fleet and I cannot wait to see the theming and shows!

One of the newest ships, The Disney Treasure,is about to make her maiden voyage December 21, 2024 out of Port Canaveral and will feature "The Tale of Moana," a broadway-style musical, as well as "Beauty and the Beast" and Disney Seas the Adventure" broadway-style shows.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the best-themed bar I can't wait to visit - the "Haunted Mansion Parlor." I mean, yes, yes, yes! Foolish Mortals...bahahahaha!

The Disney Destiny will be setting sail November of 2025 with an all-new Broadway-style stage show, "Disney Hercules." From Zero to Hero, here we go!

Just a little taste of what this travel agent will be over the top excited to book for you! Let's start thinking about sailing, peeps!

The Disney Destiny is going to be one of my favorites, I can already tell! Heroes and villains…I mean, the best combination!

In 5 short months from today, October 17-21, 2024, I will be sailing aboard the Disney Magic out of Fort Lauderdale for their Halloween on the High Seas bash through the Bahamas! It’s a girls’ trip that will be full of magical memories!

Not only will the ship be decked out in Halloween style, but all the characters will be sporting their Halloween outfits and the ship’s atrium will be adorned with the tree of Jack-o-lanterns! 🎃

We even get to visit Disney’s newest private island that opens June of 2024,
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on the Island of Eleuthera!

I can’t wait to be some of the first cruisers to experience this beautiful island and Bahamian cultural experience!
