We're at the moment enjoying a relaxing week at Isla Holbox in Mexico. Our days are basically breakfast, beach, sleep, eat, shower,sleep,repeat 😄 It's amazing and exactly what we need right now.
Yesterday we found out that this island has a rescue center for homeless, lost dogs. They really appreciate all the help they can get, and as the animal-lovers we are, we volunteered to take two of them for a walk. We had a lovely 45 minute walk along the beach during sunset with our new friends Caribe and Barabas ❤️🐶🐶 We'll probably do the same tomorrow 😊 One day left here at Holbox before we're going back to Cancun for the third time. On friday we fly to New York!

Hola!
Wow, it's already may! We have "only" 5 weeks left of this amazing journey. The past weeks have flown by.
At the moment we're enjoying lazy days at Isla Mujeres just tanning,sleeping and using as little money as possible. Rehabdays are upon us after two amazing partyweeks in LA,Coachella and Vegas.
We'll stay here until wednesday, then we're going to Cancun. After that we haven't planned where to go, but we need to find a good place to celebrate the 17th of may 😃 At the end of the month we'll go to Belize for a week or 9 days and then the final destination awaits - New York!
We are still bestfriends and loving life together around the world 😍🌎

So, because of our current budget (which is beyond broke😂), we decided to skip Cayman Islands and stay another week in Mexico.
We now have 4 weeks in total in Mexico. Therefore we are wondering about visiting another country nearby.

Our fellow travellers- do you have any recommendations on where to go? Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua??

People here are amazing - so friendly,helpful and cute ❤️
Well organized subwaysystem, incredible shopping and just a lot to take in with all the people and the city it self.

After traveling for 30 hours with ferry,bus,taxi,plane,plane and then train, we have finally arrived in our home for the next 7 days in Tokyo. We sleep on the floor,but we have our own room (luxury!!) Could seriously fallen a sleep outside on a rock right now.
Time here is 17.16 and that is a good night from us 😴 zzzzzz

And then there were two!

After being 7 and then 5 girls traveling together in the Philippines and Vietnam, the sisters are now on their own again.
These three weeks have been nothing but amazing! We have met wonderful people, made new friendships, seen unbelivable places, experienced crazy and bizzare boattrips, laughed our lungs out, traveled for 20 hours in a day, eating and drinking a lot - and all of this with a group of people we couldn't be more satisfied with!
Thank you Linn, Marie, Elin, Christine and Christina for joining our trip and adding joy, enjoying moments and memories for a lifetime with us ❤️

For the next 8 days we'll visit Koh Tao and Koh Phangan before flying to Tokyo 😊
Just found out that the Fullmoonparty will be excactly when we are there, so of course we gotta join that!
But first we have to wait 6 hours at Surat Thani airport, then take the nightferry for 10 hours! Zzzz...

We can't believe 3 months of our journey is done - We'll make sure to enjoy every moment of the next 2!

Finally in Manila Philippines after a three hour flight from Bangkok!
Our norwegian friends have been traveling all night, and eventually jetlag knocked them down! Ingvild and I on the other hand are very awake after too much sleeping in Bangkok 😂

We still have to hang out at the airport for almost 5 hours. Waiting for Linn who will arrive 17.30 from Sydney. So at 20.50 a team of 7 norwegians fly together to Boracay island 😊
This will be a looong day and night, but the reward is waking up in paradise tomorrow 😍☀️

Another country done - another journey has come to an end!

New Zealand has been both amazing and a bit to expencieve ;P
If we could turn back time we would have done more research before going here.
Because we only had two weeks in this country and wanted to see most of it, we decided to book the intercitybus.
New Zealand has a lot of buscompanies that offer packages in both the south and north island, but none of these fitted our schedule. After travelling here for a week we also found out that there is a really cheap buscompany newly started here. To bad all our bustickets were prepaid :/

We arrived in Christchurch and have our departure from Auckland tomorrow.
Christchurch was nothing more than a ghostcity (that is what an earthquake will do to a city unfortunately), so after one night there we took the bus down to Queenstown.
We spent 4 days in this city that we have come to love very much :)
A small town with a mainstreet full of bars, restaurants and shops surronded with spectacular nature, mountains and a beach.
All in walking distance from the hostel.
We stayed at Pinewood where we met a fun group of people who made our stay great :D We did two wonderful hikes, skydive, and had two nights out while staying here.
From Queenstown we had 4 long days in the bus driving north, with one night each place. This because we didnt want to stay long in these cities so had to split up the journey over several days due to long distances.
Finally we could settle in Taupo for 2 days. Here we did the Tongariro Crossing, and as we already told it was amazing!!
We also had 2 days in Rotorua. Here we visited the Hobbiton movie set, which was really fun!

Today we had our last busdrive in this country, and now another continent awaits :D
We are SO excited for Asia, and we wont be travelling alone this time. After three nights in Bangkok we will meet Elin Ørnskar, Christina Olsen and Christine Mollan at Bangkok airport and fly together to Manila, Philippines :D And as if that wasnt enough joy in life, we will also meet Linn Sandve who we travelled with in Australia earlier on out trip! 6 girls doing Boracay together - its going to be aaaaamazing!!!

Today we did The Tongariro Crossing outside Taupo, and it was beautiful!
We got picked up outside the hostel 05.30, then drove for 1,5 hour to the starting point.
The first hour was easy without any uphills. As we started the devils stairway we could see more and more of the sunrise. After 1 hour of steep stairs, we could finally enjoy the amazing view of Mount Doom (the Volcano from Lord of the rings, see pictures).
After this we had about 1 hour easy walk before we met the steepest part of the crossing. We got rewarded with a long downhill followed by the beautiful Emerald Lakes and Blue Lake. After this we had two hours with fast walking in easy trails.

We were told that the crossing would take between 6 and 8 hours. We were done after 5,5 hours, and felt pretty good about that :D

Our legs are really sore, so soon we'll go to bed, watch a movie and call it an early night.
Headed for Rotorua tomorrow, where we'll see more of the Lord of the rings set! :)

After 4 amazing days in Queenstown, we are now travelling north.
Yesterday we had an 8 hour busdrive from Queenstown to Franz Josef. Today another 10 hour to Nelson. More bus and ferry tomorrow and monday before we settle for two days in Taupo 😊 Good thing the bus has free wifi 😜

Only one week left in New Zealand before heading to Asia!! Excited and happy to know that the next 4 weeks wont ruin us as Australia and New Zealand have done 🙉
