We usually don’t do roller coaster but this toboggan run looks super fun! We’re back adventure fam with a little something for our part time adrenaline junkies!! This toboggan run in the village of Saas Fee I’m Switzerland is 900 meters long & will take you up to a top speed of 60mph!! Crazy!! Check the info below for all the details!!

You adrenaline junkies can rejoice. You can now take SAFE tours of the radiation filled reactor 4! How bout this for the adventure fam. This old time steam engine nicknamed “Puffing Billy” takes all around Belgrave, Australia 🇦🇺!! The first class cabin of the train complete with red carpet, meals, dessert & wine for those that wish to partake. The open air cabin is the cheapest but by far the best on those warm weather days!! Of course we got the info for you below😎👍🏽

King of the Clouds ✨☁️

Pamukkale, which means “Cotton Castle” in Turkish, is located in Denizli Province, Turkey. The Turkish name refers to the surface of the shimmering, snow-white limestone, shaped over thousands of years by calcium-rich springs. The water from the springs drips down the mountainside and collects in terraces, forming pools of mineral rich water. Legend has it that the formations are solidified cotton that giants left out to dry, hence the name “Cotton Castle”.

Tips
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ARRIVE EARLY: to avoid the crowd. After making a pit stop (which I'll share in another post) I arrived around noon and was surprised to see there were not too many people there. I didn't even have to fight anyone to get solo pics haha. As I was leaing around 4pm it started getting very busy. I would recommend getting there early, by noon the latest. For reference I visited in the beginning of March which is the “low season”.

From Istanbul, I flew 1hr into Denizli Airport (DNZ) via Turkish Airlines. I arrived at 8am, picked up my Avis rental car right from the airport and hit the road The drive to Pammukale was only 50 minutes and it was smooth sailing all the way. The roads were great and there was good signage. I used my phone GPS for directions with no issues.

Doesn’t matter if you like flying, bungee or scuba diving we’ve got something for everybody! Speaking of scuba diving how bout a swim in “Deans Blue Hole” (yes that’s really it’s name) in the Bahamas 🇧🇸!!! Trust us...scuba diving is an amazing experience even if you’re not that fond of water. The 660ft deep hole is full of fish, coral & turtles just waiting for you to explore. Dean’s Blue Hole is even used in free dive competitions for swimmers from all across the world. As usual we got you....info below!!

And on this episode of “We bet you haven’t been here” is Nanyuki, Kenya 🇰🇪!! Nanyuki is about 200 km from Kenya’s capital city Nairobi. Nanyuki is a small town where the equator passes directly thru one of its busiest roads. You science guys will love this! At this point you can witness the coriolis effect for your own eyes, take the obligatory IG pic & buy some EXTREMELY overpriced souvenirs! Gotta see this one for yourself. What to do: This sign is on the side of the road in Nanyuki. There is little to nothing to do here other than pictures & buy souvenirs so you want bundle this stop in with other day activities. Suggested is a stop at the equator on the way to Ol Pejeta Conservancy! ( ) There you can see THE BIG FIVE (Five most difficult animals to hunt. Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant, and Cape buffalo) Tours of the equator & conservancy are given by “Journey Genius”

So you want to get your International Driving License. Well first let’s get it straight. Everybody knows what you mean but there’s no such thing as an IDL. Technically it’s a International Driving Permit. In any event if you live in the US there’s only two ways to get one. Thru AAA (Triple A) or AATA (American Automobile Touring Alliance). Thru both organizations it’s pretty easy. Both ways are thru the mail. Both require a completed application you can get off both of their websites, two passport sized photos, signed photocopies of your US issued license & a $20 fee. It’s literally that simple! IDPs are only valid for one year.

So now with your permit you can legally drive in 174 countries (you have to have your US license with you as well.) Your IDP is a permit not a ID card or license. It won’t even be recognized if you don’t have a valid US license.

Now get your IDP & roll out! No speeding tho! We warned you!

This is not up for debate! The best eats are out in the city! Take for example in Rio De Janiero. They have some of the best steak houses EVER!! Some of the best snacks & quick food places are in the Favelas!! What about in Bora Bora! We had an amazing fresh seafood dinner on the main island of Vaitape! Where have you guys eaten that it was so good it surprised you? Let us know so we can go there & try it for ourselves!!

Make good decisions & pay attention to your surroundings. Things you guys do everyday! Solo travel is the new wave. Find yourself....
