She came back after 3 hours to fetch her kill. This was the tail end of it all after she dropped it from higher up.

Marabou storks are known to be one of the “ugly 5”. Not very difficult to understand when one judges a book by its cover 😀. So often that stands in the way of how the are perceived and the vitally important role they play in our ecosystem.

In some cultures they are viewed with superstition and often associated with death and misfortune.

In our world they are viewed as key role players in a very delicate and sensitive ecosystem 👌🏻🫶
