As useual it is a beautiful fall day at Clearlake Ca almost every year in October it is this way. The Bass fishing starts to pick up but usually slows down in Nov. Dec, Jan & Feb. But Oboy!! The Blank bass return to biting in March through May. After they have spread their eggs in the shallows they head for deeper water, around piers or protruding rocks!

Enough about fishing! Water Sking becomes very popular in May Through October. The owner of Hal & Donna’s Boat Haven loves to share his waterfront home in Clearlake Oaks, Ca with families and small clubs groups not exceeding eight people. I was up to Clearlake this past weekend for three nights with my son Mark. He came with me to make a few more improvements to the interior of our Boat Haven. It has been such a busy rental season especially this past fall and winter. I am pleased to learn how much fun our guest have been having watching the many birds and exotic ducks from the North and East that have stopped to feed on our waterfront. I just had the home interior painted that gave it such a fresh new look. It was fun to be back after six months of a very popular rental season for boaters and water skiers. I love this home environment so much and enjoy sharing it with others!

Hal and Donna’s Boat Haven Vacation Rental

The Boat Haven is a private home in a quiet community with a boat dock exclusively for our guests. This property is on California’s largest natural Lake. Better known as “Clearlake” also named the “The Bass Capital of California” for it's reputation of being a great place to catch Black Bass all year round. The home is tastefully decorated like you might find on an Ocean Cruise! This home is available all year around. Rented only by the week & weekend.
