Winter is a great time to get interiors shot! Exteriors are tricky due to there being no leaves on the trees. (At least in areas that have all four seasons!) But, if you are just needing interior photography created - winter is a great time to do so!

We photographed Gonzaga College High School back in 2013 and our client, Coakley Williams Construction, hired us to capture the beautiful renovation to the space.

Over the winter, we were hired by Grosvenor to create photography of 1701 Penn Office Suite. We had previously created the photography for the exteriors while the cherry blossoms were in bloom.

This shoot utilized Michelle and Grosvenor Employees as our models. A few different people would rotate through as they were available throughout the day. This is a great way to add people to your photography without having to hire models.

Coakley & Williams Construction hired us to create photography of Smothers Elementary School! What a cool project!

Smothers’ Mission (from website): “Our mission is to ensure that Smothers Elementary guarantees that students reach their full potential and become their best selves through rigorous and exciting learning experiences provided in a safe and nurturing environment.”

Located East of the Anacostia River in Washington, DC, our client expanded the 3-story building from 43,400sf to over 66,000sf! This is a beautiful project and we are thankful to have had the opportunity to photograph it.

Mt. Sterling Senior is a 90-unit affordable housing senior living center located in Sterling, VA!

Our client reached out to us in February of 2022 to have us photograph three different properties. We didn’t actually shoot this particular property until November 2022! Oftentimes a client will reach out to us before the space is ready to be photographed. This is a good practice so that we can make sure the space it ready before scheduling a shoot. Sometimes, we may need to reschedule due to weather conditions - for example, an overcast day. Although this happens infrequently, it is always better to reschedule than to capture something that the client will not be satisfied with.

We were hired by MV&A Architects to produce exterior photography and drone video of Faraday Park East and West located in Reston, VA.

Our objective was to capture the exteriors of the entire site, the buildings, the internal courtyards, and one of the rooftop pool areas. This site was huge which made for an all day shoot!

James, Michelle, and our client’s Director of Marketing, Kevin were included in some of the photography - this often happens on a shoot in order to liven up the shots!

This job took almost a year to get scheduled! Our client wanted a before and after shot of the remodeled lobby. So, we were able to create the before shot in November of 2021 and then didn’t photograph the finished product until end of October 2022.

The actual shot list consisted of a new lobby, a clubroom, and two new model units!

We were only hired to photograph interiors so we were able to create the photography at any time of the year. When you are dealing with exteriors, you want to make sure to schedule the shoot in late spring to mid fall. This way, you can ensure that there are still plenty of leaves on the trees. Otherwise, the area looks dead and dormant.

First developed in 1978, Cheltenham Veteran’s Cemetery was due for an upgrade! The active cemetery was running out of space, and its buildings, roadways, and utilities required attention, if not replacement.

Our client, Colimore Architects, hired us to create the photography of the Admin Building. This was a new build after demolishing the previous administration building. The new building boasts 3,133 square feet and is a stunning addition to the area.

In October 2022, we were hired by Coakley Williams Construction to create photography of the stunning new Crossroads Building at The Langley School. The building, which spans 33,570 square feet, houses the primary school, fifth grade classrooms, a library, a media center, and a spacious multipurpose area. Prior to constructing The Crossroads Building, their team had to demolish a pre-existing library on the campus.

The Verve Partnership always provides such vibrant designs! The pops of color in this space are particularly appealing, adding a touch of excitement to the workday for those involved with the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership.

This was already a working office space when we were hired to create the photography, which sometimes has its challenges. Fortunately, most of the staff in the office were willing to participate when available.

When using people in our photography, Jeff always ensures that we create both versions - with and without people - to accommodate any preferences from vendors or other parties involved in the project.

Spring Flats in Washington, DC!

This was an interesting project because it involved capturing several different elements. Firstly, the multi-family new construction, which consists of 87 units. Secondly, a historical building that was converted into a senior living facility with 88 units. And finally, 10 row homes!

During the shoot, we ended up capturing more exteriors than interiors and made a second trip to shoot some twilight photography. We are thrilled with how the photography turned out and hope you will enjoy it too!

Take a look at 101 Cross Street, a luxury apartment complex located in Baltimore, MD.

101 Cross Street is just a few streets away from M&T Bank Stadium! This is a 299-unit multifamily apartment building with an additional 12,000 square feet of retail!

We arrived at the site around noon in order to catch the sun at it’s highest point and we made sure to stay until after dark so we could capture those beautiful twilight shots!

Matson Mill is impressive! Our team spent an entire day capturing photography and video for this fantastic luxury apartment complex.

To ensure we got the best footage possible, we not only utilized our cameras for the main photography and video but, in addition two drones - one for drone photography and the other for video!

We typically stay on-site until after dark to capture the stunning twilight shots, which in the summer means we are there until almost 9pm!

Peak Management hired us to create photography and video for this property. The photography showcases the model unit as well as some of the amenity spaces while the video only showcases the model unit.

City Harbor at Lake Guntersville is your one-stop-shop for live entertainment, delicious food and beverages, shopping, and a room with a view!

Our client, Envision Outdoor Living Products, hired us to create photography of the 50,000 square foot boardwalk that uses their "Distinction Collection Composite Decking". There is another 3,000 square feet at the event center with the same product but a different pattern.

Patrick Lawler, the creator of City Harbor at Lake Guntersville, said this about our client's work: "I'm really happy with the product and its durability, and I'm pleased with the finished result. We get tons of compliments on it."

1059 Rector Lane is a beautiful luxury home located in McLean, VA. As previously stated, we created two versions of this video. In this particular version, you will see that we utilized Michelle and even James in certain shots!

The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) prohibits the inclusion of people in videos, and we made sure to comply with that for our client. However, we also wanted to provide a version that shows the space coming to life a bit!

Over the past year CPI Productions has been working on a short film for a non-profit organization called Rose of Sharon Equestrian School (ROSES).

Yesterday we wrapped the filming portion of this project and now it is off to the editing room! We are SO excited to share this project with you in the (hopeful) near future!

This is just a behind the scenes look at one day of filming!

ROSES "provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to develop basic horsemanship and stable management skills in a uniquely therapeutic environment." (ROSES website)

During filming we were able to witness and even partake in some of the seemingly small but incredibly meaningful miracles that happen at ROSES on a regular basis.

Fairlington Presbyterian Church teamed up with several partners, one of them being our client Harkins Builders, to turn an old parking lot of theirs into an affordable living multi-family community!

“The City of Alexandria enthusiastically supported construction of The Waypoint since the beginning. Moderate income families, who were previously excluded from this area, will now be able to call The Waypoint home,” said City of Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson. “With universal design, a substantial group of people with disabilities will be able to live here as well. In late summer of 2022, St. John Properties commissioned us to create interior and exterior photographs of 14400 Sweitzer Lane located in Laurel, MD.

This impressive multi-story office space spans 120,904 square feet and boasts sleek and modern finishes.

We were hired again in February 2023 to photograph the Peraton offices, which occupy 18,000 square feet (half of one floor of the building)!

The rooftop amenities at 1221 Van are incredible!

There is raked seating to watch the ball game, an infinity pool overlooking the stadium, fire pits to watch the sunset over the Capitol and the monument, and so much more. The doors leading to the inside area have garage-style doors, which create a seamless indoor-outdoor feel.

Aspen Heights University City apartments are situated in Charlotte, North Carolina, just a few minutes away from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

101 Cross Street is just a few streets away from M&T Bank Stadium! This is a 299-unit multifamily apartment building with an additional 12,000 square feet of retail!

We had to shoot 101 Cross Street on two different days because some things were not quite ready. We actually shot the drone video of the outdoor pool and amenity area twice! But, despite the back and forth, we are thrilled with how this video turned out. We hope you enjoy it as well!

We always appreciate having our clients present during shoots, as it helps us ensure that we are creating exactly what they want. In this particular shoot, our client, E4H Architects, was present and brought an assistant to help with styling the space, and she even modeled for us!

When we do not have any other models available, we often turn to Michelle, our marketing director. Including people in the photos really brings the space to life and helps prospective clients envision how the space can be used.
