An Adventurer safari is a full participation safari. You prepare your own meals over an open campfire, set up your own camps and share the experience with your friends and family.

Camping equipment is provided along with custom designed open 4x4 vehicles which give you spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.

The drive out of Moremi and surrounding areas is pleasant and game viewing can be done along the way.

Arrive in Maun at around midday. The safari ends at Island Safari Lodge in Maun.

Adventurer Safari - Day 6: Moremi Game Reserve

After enjoying a light continental breakfast explore the reserve by open game viewer on a morning game drive.

Return to camp midday for lunch and an afternoon siesta. In the afternoon embark on another game drive to explore this unique and legendary game reserve.

Adventurer Safari - Day 5: Khwai - Moremi

The Moremi Game Reserve covers much of the eastern side of the Okavango Delta and combines permanent water with drier areas, which create some startling and unexpected contrasts.

In the Moremi Reserve you can experience excellent views of savannah game as well as bird-watching on the lagoons. There are also thickly wooded areas, which are home to wild dog and leopard.

Adventurer Safari - Day 4: Savuti - Khwai

Khwai boasts all that the Moremi does, after all it is in the greater part of the reserve, and there are no fences that prohibit wildlife from moving across.

Arrive at the campsite in time to make and enjoy a wholesome lunch. After a siesta embark on an afternoon game drive and enjoy the amazing wildlife.

Adventurer Safari - Day 3: Savuti

Savuti is famous for its predators, especially its resident lion and spotted hyena populations. Large secretary birds and Kori bustards can be sighted strutting around the Savuti marsh.

Savuti's almost desert-like landscape, loose, hot sand and elephants lining up to get to the water supply offer a wildlife experience you won't easily forget.

Adventurer Safari - Day 2: Chobe - Savuti

The Savuti area borders the Okavango Delta to the west and Chobe National Park to the east and is one of Africa's best known big game areas. Savuti is a place of enchantment, of beauty, and boasts one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa.

Savuti is famous for its mysterious and fascinating channel. It runs a distance of 100 kilometres from the Chobe River, through a gap in the sand ridge, to the Mababe Depression.

We arrive at the campsite and set up camp in the late afternoon. After setting up camp we embark on our late afternoon game drive and enjoy what this remarkable area has to offer.

Adventurer Safari - Day 1: Kasane - Chobe National Park

On this adventurous safari depart from Kasane to the Chobe riverfront.

The Chobe River is a major watering spot for large breeding herds of elephants, as well as families of giraffe, sable and Cape buffalo. Birding is also excellent here.

Spend the day exploring this wildlife rich and diverse area.
