Someone told me I should do a celebratory post for hitting 1000 followers.

Anyone who knows me knows that I don't subscribe to the posts for likes mentality - tying up my self worth or my ability to be good at my job in exchange for approval from strangers.

And I always said if I have to show myself frequently frolicking in a bikini or a sports bra in the gym to sell travel, then I was willing to lose that business.

That all being said, despite the fact that I post myself in the same outfit sometimes and am not the most creative reel maker - I guess I am proud that 1000 people want to hear what I have to say about travel.

It is my passion and I really do hope to inspire people to get out and explore the world. I believe that it makes you a better, and more understanding human, and that it's one of the best investments you can make with your hard earned money.
