Wow, we cannot believe that it’s only 11 weeks to go until Epic finally opens and we cannot believe see it in its full glory! We cannot wait to see how Universal has brought these lands to life and we’ll be sure to be bringing you the photos and videos!

If you’re not sure about what apps you should download, then look no further!

The visitor toll pass - Sign up and don’t get stung by expensive toll fees from your car rental company. It’s free to sign up and pop in your info when you arrive etc. pick up your tag at the airport (MCO only)

Walt Disney World App - this you will need to book lightning lane passes/multilane passes, check in/book dining reservations, check out wait times, mobile food orders and more!

British Airways - if you’re flying with BA, this is a good app to download as you can check you flight times/book seats/check for upgrades.

Universal Studios - check out wait times, check menus for food, park hours, dining,shows and more!

Booking.com, Expedia and holiday extras - book your overnight airport hotel and your lounge access! Double check all 3 before booking to make sure you’ve got the best price!

MPC App - when landing in MCO, you can ensure you can go through security quickly by filling out your information prior!

Countdown - we mean, who doesn’t need one of those to see the days hurry along!

Simon app - sign up for free with the Simon app, access to lots of different discounts at the Orlando Premium and Orlando Vineland outlets! Who doesn’t love a bargain!

It’s only 3 months until we get to be in Orlando seeing everything, eating (nearly everything,lol) going on sooo many rides and hotels! Not to mention opening day at the brand new park, Epic Universe and The Grand Helios Hotel!!

There are 2 rides at Disney World that require a virtual queue which you must join to ride. Guests can request to join a virtual queue at 7:00 AM. Be sure to be on the MDE app around 6:55am, all your party are there and keep refreshing all the time, soon as it pops up, select and move on to next stage. To request to join an attraction virtual queue at 1:00 PM, Guests must be inside the theme park where the virtual queue will be used. You can only hold one virtual queue at any time. Once redeemed, you can request another if available. These are free as well but you must have valid park admission.

Flower and Garden Festival at Disney’s Epcot is returning this springtime with character-themed topiaries, fresh flavors and fun for all ages— from March 5th to June 2nd 2025! We’ll be there in May so we’ll be sure to bring you all the pictures and food reviews!

We purchased a house pride pizza (£16.95) and the hogwarts turkey bap (£16:45) at the food hall. The bap was more of a burger and it was very nice, though if you are expecting slices of turkey (like we were) you’d be mistaken. The turkey was shredded (think pulled pork style) and wasn’t dry which was nice. The stuffing however was quite soft and what we could only describe as “wet” so it could have been cooked for longer to give it a crispy edge. The chips were really good, nice and crispy and fluffy on the inside.
The pizza however was no so good, toppings were everwhere and when you picked it up, they nearly all fell off as it was extremely greasy as well. This is not something we’d recommend if you have a delicate stomach. We only had 2 slices and couldn’t eat anymore which was unfortunate. We did also purchase a hot chocolate from the Chocolate Frog Cafe, which was nice but overall didn’t have a good chocolatey flavour.

If you love Harry Potter then you need to visit the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour in London! Its an amazing day out with so much to see and do! Lots of props that were used during filming and interactions as well as collecting stamps!

The great news for UK guests we can now pre book lightning lanes for Disney’s rides at all 4 parks. Prices vary depending on the park and the the date but these prices were based on 18th Nov. The Lightning lane multi pass offers most rides and you can select 3 rides for the price you pay. There are certain rides like Avatar: Flight of Passage, Rise of the resistance, Guardians of the galaxy, Tron and Seven Dwarfs mine train, which you have to purchase separately as this is not included. Its also good to look at the map to see what rides you want to do to see if purchasing lightning lane is good for you and your family.
We have done them before ourselves and personally would use them again as it saved time during an already busy day. Have you used them, would you, what are your thoughts?
