We’re in the process of building a house boat platform for a contractor. A couple more welds and we’ll be taking it outside to flip it over and add some plate steel for extra flotation tanks.

Today we wrap up our work on the Wicky Spirit for Mckeil. It’s been a long 10 days but we pushed hard and got everything done in order for the ship to be able to leave port. There was lots learned and great people met, we’re grateful for the opportunity to work upon this vessel.

We’d like to welcome our newest addition to the team, Josiah Hawkins! We had a great day working in the sunshine doing steel retrofitting on one of McKeil’s ships. Although it was spicy hot we managed to get a lot accomplished!

In the picture below you’ll see Josiah working off the side of the ship on a platform we built on site this morning. Great work!

New floating Jr Sail Club platform in service. The platform is 36'x 55' with a 20'x 20' floating ramp for launching dinghies . Deck height over the water is at 13". There is an aluminum ramp onto the dock 12'x 26'. This large platform was constructed with 24"x 1/4" Spiral welded pipe made here in Toronto. The whole platform weighs in at 50,000 lbs making for a very stable dock.

Checking on any damage due to the spring flood Toronto Islands are experiencing right now. Very busy saving docks, etc at various marinas in the area.
