Did something WAAAAYYYY outside my comfort zone.

Just pulled this gem out of my closet.

This was when t-shirts were 100% cotton. That was our performance fabric.

This was when the San Antonio marathon, at most, had a couple hundred finishers. (More for the 1/2)

This was when you could sign up the morning of the race.

Our knowledge of nutrition was infinitely less than today. Holy smokes I remember a nasty bonk at mile 22.

This was when there were long stretches on course without any support or inspiration. It was me and the pavement ahead.

This was a different day and had I known then what I know now. I would have smiled through every challenging moment. Today, I miss those moments.

Today my fitness is vastly different and I’m grateful I have kept the t-shirts🏆

Daisy, Alex and I had so much fun delivering these goodies and cash to Charming Pet Rescue. Huge thanks to IconOne Multisports amazing clients who donated to this life-saving cause.

The highlight was meeting Hilary, the relentless and passionate driving force behind the rescue. Blessed are the hundreds of dogs and cats whose fate brought them to her door. I am humbled by her boundless energy and love of animals.

Happy Holidays to everyone and If you are considering adding a furry friend to your family, Please consider adopting. We welcomed Miss Alexandra to our family this year. You'd never know she is a "senior" dog and fits in perfectly at the gym.

🎄🧑‍🎄'Tis the season for giving and in that spirit we are supporting a fantastic, local small animal rescue Charming Pet Rescue. This year alone, they have placed hundreds of animals.
