Chapter one: Aftermath at the Tavern
Lorgarth wakes up as he always does. Naked, surrounded by debris, and clutching his great axe "Charleen"
Logarth finds himself in a small tavern at the end of the Golden Road. The tavern keepers, a beautiful elf called Eddren (Ae th ren), and her new life mate, angrily kick out the destructive Lorgarth. But not before Logarth befriends the Tavern keeper's old life mate, Aleman, who is also being kicked out. Although more kindly so than Logarth. As they are leaving they meet a dark witch, Zahra.
Zahra has a lucrative contract from the Sky College, an old noble institution of mages, to which both Lorgarth and Aleman sign on. Zahra informs the pair that they are all no tasked with collecting the fire from the "Watcher." The Watcher is an ancient and enormous statue that holds an eternally burning gold and blue flame in it's upraised hand. Through a little magic and alcohol Zahra cajoles Lorgarth and Aleman down the Golden Road towards the Badlands, an arid Orc infested desert, which lies between them and their goal.
Chapter two: Raiders on the Road
The trio's journey immediately takes a turn for the worse. At a small village west on the Golden Road they met a small raiding party of Orc riders. Battle ensued.
The ferocity and barbarism of Logarth the barbarian is displayed in full as he cleaves his foes into chunks of green colored meat and urinates on the remains. Zahra's nature mastery ensnared the riders preventing their charge. While Aleman, deftly with bow and rapier helps to dispatch the orcs. honoring his drunken god.
In the distance the three see a church marked by a single great golden key.

Chapter Three: Massacre at the Church
Logarth's beast like senses notice a small figure inside the church. After he is re-taught how doors work by Aleman Logarth charges into the church to find a small charming halfling, Lloyd P Fueling. Aleman quickly susses out that the halfling is not what he claims to be. Just as Aleman begins hi interrogation of the clever little halfling the vault door in the basement of the church opens with a loud thunk. Logarth immediately smashes his great axe into the floor destroying the foundation. This in turn knock down an innocuous bottle which shatters releasing a wind sylph named Saehlin Tena. While Logarth and Aleman investigate the opening vault Lloyd slips away unnoticed.
Zahra very nearly gives in to her Dryad urges and almost consumes Sylph Saehlin. But, satisfies herself with a single drop of Saehlin's blood. Logarth charges into the vault ripping the door from its hinges. This horribly upsets the local clergymen and villagers taking refuge from the raiders inside.
Meanwhile, Lloyd decides that this force of chaos, Logarth, can be put to his advantage. Slipping past both barbarian and clerics Lloyd begins to pilfer what he can from inside the now open vault. What he finds gives him an idea for a grand scheme.
With silver tongue and newly acquired land development contracts Lloyd convinces Logarth and Aleman to join him on a nearly legal business venture. Though Logarth has no idea what "apart means" are he is promised lots of killing will need to take place. Zahra, not wanting to lose such obviously useful lackeys attempts to subue the party with her entrancing poppies. All the while trying to capture Saehlin for her dark purposes. Before she succeeds one of the distraught priests attacks Logarth to stop his destruction. This is where things get out of hand.
Screaming, "I am Logarth, the Barbarian!" Logarth splits the priest in two and flies into a rage. He proceeds to destroy what's left of the already ransacked church, killing the remaining clergy in the process. All the while drunkenly bemoaning his lost wife and child.
Only the concerted efforts of Zahra, Aleman, Lloyd and Saehlin managed to subdue the raging barbarian. Saehlin thes pleads on behalf of herself, Aleman and Logarth to be released from the intoxicating effects of the poppies. An uneasy alliance is struck among the group over a sleepily mumbling Logarth.
Chapter Four: The unfortunate wish
The next morning Logarth wakes as he always does. Naked, surrouned by debris, and clutching Charleen. As he begins to wander off and engage in some smithing, or coopering to be precise, the rest of the group collects themselves and also begin to wander away. Zahra, fearing the now very real failure of her contract falls to her Dryadic desire and wishes for her group to be closer to her goal.
The Whims of Nature hear her wish and teleport the party to the foot of the Watcher. Horribly, this also plants them inside three very hungry Vampiric Mists. The only one who keeps her head is also the only one who can see through the deadly mists. Saehlin leads the party to the door at the foot of the statue called the Watcher. However, Zahra get's separated from the group and trapped behind fire and Vampiric Mist. With great bravery and very skilled flight Saehlin rescues Zahra, nearly at the cost of her own life. With some amateurish potion making Aleman helps Saehlin partially recover.
The aventuring party now nurses their wound, huddled beneath the baleful gaze of the ancient and mysterious Watcher.
