The Pursuit of Travel The Pursuit of Travel is a small group tour company that leads boutique trips to Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

There are currently two tours available: a food, wine, and painting tour of Florence & Tuscany and the Camino Portugués in Spain/Portugal. Brightman Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. He has traveled and studied extensively in Italy since he was 15 years old, most

recently to study sculpture at the Accademia d’Arte in Florence. He has a passion for architecture, art, gastronomy, and wine as well as a love of hiking and the outdoors. These interests, along with his background in design, make him particularly passionate about crafting a unique and authentic immersion in culture and country. Brightman leads small group tours to ensure an intimate and tailored experience for the discerning traveler.
