European towns with long cold winters seem to have the brightest colored homes. Such homes were a common sight in Newfoundland.

Greenland villages are small by any standard. The largest town in Greenland, the largest island on earth, has less than 20,000 inhabitants. Nanortalik has about 1,100 people making it the eleventh largest town on the island.

Kenya's variety of birds include the ugly marabou stork, gross hornbills, beautiful weavers, iridescent Guineafowl, and fish eagles.

My Kenya photo safari would last a couple weeks, exploring the African savanna spotting gerenuks ,elephants, giraffes and bee eaters.
