Looking at this view of our rooftop terrace, with the majestic Table Mountain glowing in the evening light, I’m reminded of everything I miss. My mountain, my loved ones, my dogs – they’re all there, waiting for me.

Even though I’m trying to enjoy the Christmas season here, ✨😊🎄leaving Cape Town always feels like leaving a piece of myself behind.

We arrived at a dreamy lakeside accommodation with stunning mountain views that remind me so much of Switzerland. The dogs are having a blast playing in and around the water, and I even managed to enjoy a few pages of my book in this peaceful setting. Here’s to a perfect weekend getaway!

🌿 At the end of August, I spent four unforgettable days in the beautiful Dinokeng Game Reserve, just outside Pretoria. This trip wasn’t just about relaxation – I was here supporting the Friends of Dinokeng Foundation, learning about the reserve, and attending a fantastic launch event. Staying at the stunning Golden Impala Lodge made the experience even more special. 🐘🦒

I also had the incredible opportunity to go on safari and witness the beauty of the wildlife up close. Feeling so grateful to be part of this conservation journey. Until next time, Dinokeng! 💚

A few months ago, I spent an incredible weekend at Bainskloof Pass with friends. We embraced the great outdoors, enjoyed some fantastic wine, and had the best conversations. Our doggies were the cherry on top, adding even more fun to the experience. Already dreaming of our next adventure!
