Korea will allow visa-free entry through Jeju and Yangyang international airport starting June 1, resuming a visa-waiver program that has been suspended for more than two years due to the pandemic.

Starting June 1, visa free travel to Korea begins again. To enter Yangyang, it must be a group of 5 or more members to be accredited and can stay up to 15 days in Korea. Upon visiting the group can also visit the nearby cities including Seoul, but need to fly back to Philippines via Yangyang airport. For Jeju, tourists can stay up to 30 days. However transferring to other places rather than Jeju is prohibited.

Upon visiting Yangyang, tourists can easily visit the nearby places such as Gangneung, Jumunjin, Nami Island, Goblin filming location, BTS music video filming locations and more.

NCR UPDATE: Starting March 1, Metro Manila or the National Capital Region (NCR) will be on alert level 1. With eased up requirements, all inbound tourists must only present their vaccination card upon entry.

When in Manila, visit cultural landmarks like Intramuros, Rizal Park, and National Museum of Natural History and venture out in the city by going to Ayala Triangle Gardens, Bonifacio Global City, and Chinatown. Visit https://philippines.travel/ for updates and other information.

I AM that 1 out of 10.

MANY people think that my job is to travel for free (I WISH!!!). ✈️🛳🏖🕍⛩

📞💻In REALITY, 90% of my job is spent sitting at my desk designing itineraries for clients. I spend hours, weeks, sometimes even MONTHS working on SINGLE trips, making sure every detail is thought out and planned. And truly I LOVE doing so because this is my life’s passion❤️

The travel industry has been dealing with the coronavirus since JANUARY — an additional two full months before it really began impacting daily life here in the Philippines. 😢

💰 IMPORTANT fact: Travel agents ONLY GET PAID AFTER their clients actually travel. Our income has ALL DISAPPEARED but our commitment has not.

We’ve spent these last FOUR months working tirelessly to NEGOTIATE REFUNDS, POSTPONEMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS without earning anything in return; while trying to stay educated on our hotel, airline, destination and tour partners and the changes they are making to welcome travelers again .

❤️ But we do it WITHOUT QUESTION because we have wonderful, personal relationships with our clients - something that credit card companies & Expedia DO NOT - and know travel will come back stronger than ever once this is all over.

✈️🛳🧳 So when you DO decide to travel again - PLEASE use a travel agent - as long as they are qualified and you trust them .
Do not click a “book” button on a website ever again.
