ANTHONY LAKES WILL OPEN THIS WEEKEND, DECEMBER 7TH & 8TH

BAKER COUNTY – (Release from Anthony Lakes) Anthony Lakes is excited to announce that opening day is Saturday, December 7! The stoke is high with all of this awesome early season snow and Ian and his crew have been hard at work getting the hill ready. The ski area is in fantastic shape for early season and with a little more snow over the next week or so, we’ll be ready to get our shred on!

All base area operations are scheduled to operate from 9am to 4pm. (For a faster ticket window experience, please purchase your lift tickets online here).

ATTENTION SEASON PASSHOLDERS: Anthony Lakes Season Passholders get a bonus day on Friday, December 6 – Come get the first turns of the season!

Ticket booth will open at 8:30am for season pass pick up
Lifts will turn 10am to 3pm
Full base area operations
No lessons available this day
Scheduled Days of Operation:

December 6, 10am to 3pm: Season passholders only
December 7 & 8
December 14 & 15
December 21 through January 5: Open daily
Close at 1pm on Christmas Eve
Closed Christmas Day
We will resume regular Thursday through Sunday operations starting January 9th

There isn't a photographer I know that doesn't lament the loss of the Boardman Tree Farm. It's been gone now for about seven years. My single opportunity to photograph among the trees was absolutely amazing. An experience I'll never forget.

Loving it!

I fell in love with this home immediately and knew I had to make it mine in August of 2017. In the warm months, the scent and sight of lavender and thyme greet you as you walk towards the house. As a 35 year Alaskan resident, the variety of fruit trees in the yard, particularly the peach tree, had me overjoyed. The idea that I could share the wealth with friends, (and local deer), only added to my joy. As a child I spent several gleeful moments on my great grandmother’s farm. The portion of the house I live in is like a 1933 farm house. Honey’s Bunkhouse itself is a remarkably clever and authentic remake in the style of the Old West. The walls and ceilings are sided with old barn wood as is the large common area with separate entry. The decor and furniture are decidedly Western as well. To top it off, there is a picnic area in the summer or the firepit can be enjoyed in the winter months. This location is literally a few blocks from beautiful, historic, downtown Baker. Come and see for yourself!
