These images are from our most innovative teen travel experience ever - Street Photography Camp in Oaxaca, Mexico this past summer. (Note, these are just my images of the campers - not some of their 15,000+ images!)

We are super GRATEFUL to all the campers, their trusting parents, and the inspiring adults who made this an incredible experience - including Molly Scott from Seattle, Photographer Luvia Lazo from Oaxaca, Peppo Marotta from Oaxaca, and Samuel Beautysta Lazer from Oaxaca). Special thanks to our partnering youth center in Oaxaca, Centro de Esperanza Infantil A. C.- Oaxaca Streetchildren Grassroots a community focused organization supporting kids to succeed and stay in school through college. I can attest that they are making an impact.

We are all so grateful to the campers from Seattle and Oaxaca who participated in this camp. More than a ton of serious photography learning - and more than Spanish immersion at its best - these campers showed us how kind and inclusive they could be with each other, creating new friends and helping....

On the last day of camp in Oaxaca the kids had a show at a local photography center. Friends, family, and passerby came to see their work. The week of practice and refinement really shows. Here is a small sample. We will write a full post and showcase all of their work soon. ❤️📷❤️
