ESCAPE ALLEY - Sundry - ESCAPE ALLEY -Sundry- was created as an art experiment. The approach to it's physical design was that of a functional art installation.

ESCAPE ALLEY - Sundry - - EATS - SODAS - BEER - SET UPS - MUSIC - ART - NO SMOKING - SUNDRIES - FUN - FREE Wi Fi - PGF CERTIFIED - FAMILY FRIENDLY UNLESS ANNOUNCED The space was designed to immediately cause an alteration in ones emotions and sense of comfort and belonging. Although you had never entered the doors before you felt as comfortable as though it was a regular place that you've been

a thousand times. In addition the concept was to create a place of diversity of cultural and racial blending. One of the key elements was the fact that this restaurant/entertainment venue was solely run by it's creators. Artist Russell Wild his Wife Jo Boone-Wild and daughter "Memphis Mattie" (7 tears old). This personal aspect gave a real down home feeling! ESCAPE ALLEY was a favorite of locals and travelers alike. Nightly you could experience music from Blues, Rock, Folk, Rap, Reggae, Classical and experimental. Other entertainment included Burlesque shows, live stage plays, family ROCK-N-ROMP shows, comedy and more. You could buy art, great food, candy, beer, sodas. floats, ice cream, pickled eggs and more. Our experiment lasted three years in Downtown Memphis within sight of legendary SUN STUDIO (The birthplace of Rock-N-Roll). We are currently looking for investors all over the country to set up similar facilities that would relate to there specific location. Our concept for restaurant and entertainment design is to create a space in which all are comfortable, welcome and feel part of the community. Kind of like putting the Americana back in America. P.S.- ESCAPE ALLEYS motto was "HAVE FUN OR GET OUT" !...
