Disneyland California Adventure Resort Pixar Place Hotel is the perfect home away from home when vacationing to Disneyland! Its just an 8 minute walk from all the shopping and food at Downtown Disney, and only 15 minutes from the gates of Disneyland.

What's in my beach bag? These are my must haves this summer!
I never leave the house without lathering myself in sunscreen, and Sun Bum body spray sunscreen is my go to - there is no white cast and gives that perfect summer scent of coconut and sunshine. My all-time favorite face sun cream is the Innisfree Hyaluronic Acid moisturizer - its super hydrating and gives off a beautiful natural glow. Keep your lips plump with the Laneige Peach lip balm that keeps your lips so soft, and smells incredibly yummy!
The sun is out and shining bright, so I always have a sturdy pair of sunglasses - that are equally stylish! I am loving the neck chain for the glasses this summer - especially for those dips in the ocean.
I'm upgrading those rubber flip flops for a sturdy pair of sandals that can be dressed up or down!
Finally, you need the perfect beach bag to put all of your essentials in - there are so many fun options on amazon, and I found this gorgeous tote bag that is literally from my dreams!

PLANNING A VACATION WITH KIDS can be a little stressful, but it doesn't have to be!
-When you decide its time for you and the family to take off on a trip; get the kids involved in deciding where you all would like to go. Make it a fun family activity and have a few options to do some research on. Find pictures and videos and present them!

Once you've decided on your destination, get together to create a day-to-day schedule of when and where you will be each day, and the fun things that you will be doing.

Being specific with where you will be and what activities will be done so you and the kids can manage their time and expectations throughout the trip.

Making sure you have established a start and ending to each day so you all get plenty of rest for your adventures. (We don't want cranky kids on vaycay... or adults for that matter! Everyone needs rest and relaxation!)

For the younger children, new places can be very over stimulating; making sure there is thought put into changing activities to hold their attention, and not burning the out.

Breaks are so important, especially when on vacation with the kids. Create regimented breaks for snacks, lunch, and dinner. Have little activities like a book or coloring sheets for down time.

These are just a few travel tips when vacationing with the kiddos, so that you all can make the best of your trip!
