For our last resort stay on the island, I decided I needed to take one for the team 😊

St Lucia has three great resorts with open room concepts. We visited two of them and stayed two nights at the other, each night in a different room. I knew first hand experience sleeping with 3 walls and no air conditioning would prove invaluable when discussing these options with clients. What started as a “sacrifice” for knowledge ended as an absolute pleasure! Now I still don’t think it’s for everyone, so let’s discuss if you think it could be for you!

Yesterday was a beautiful day in St Lucia to explore some resorts! Site visits are just one way we try to ensure we are matching our clients with a property they will love.

From boutique properties, luxury options, places with lots of activities for kids, adults only resorts, those with all day activity, quiet restful retreats, big resorts, small resorts, places where great food is a huge focus, those with fabulous spas, resorts with a modern aesthetic vs more traditional - we love to visit them all 🩵

Our stay at Sandals Regency La Toc was fun! There’s always something to do and it’s easy to find some quiet time as well ☀️

From pool fishing games, trivia, kayak races in the main pool, co****le tournament, karaoke, pool Olympics, pool volleyball, live entertainment, the special Super Bowl BBQ, a really entertaining fire show, and of course, the swim up bar - there was never a chance to be bored!🎣

There’s also a quiet area if all that activity is not your cup if tea! And oh the beautiful views!! 🌞

Honestly, we can have fun anywhere.

But warm weather, beautiful beaches, and blue water did not hurt one bit as we celebrated our 50th birthday year (yes, a few are a little older) and over 30 years of friendship. 🎉🎂🥳

St John is a beautiful place. It’s so fun to explore the islands many white sand beaches while experiencing the unique blend of Caribbean culture. The laid-back atmosphere, stunning sunsets, and friendly locals contribute to unforgettable moments. 🏝️☀️🚣

This is your reminder to grab your people and go somewhere! It’s always a great time being together, reliving past times, and making new memories together ❤️

❤️When we planned a friends trip to St John months and months ago, Bill Ryan and I decided to go down a bit early to visit the British Virgin Islands. And boy was that a good decision! Not only are we missing sleetpocalypse 2024, but we’ve had a fantastic time.

☀️Sunny skies, blue water, and kind people warmly welcomed us at Rosewood Little Dix Bay. If you value tranquility, luxury, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, and atttentive but unpretentious service, it may be the place for you too!

EPCOT has not always been a favorite of mine. It was a very different park at one time, and I’ll admit I didn’t take the time to try to really enjoy it. 🌎

But over the past few years, it has quickly risen to a can’t-miss park in my book. I’ve always loved Soarin and Test Track but the addition of Remy and Frozen has really amped up the ride appeal. And Guardians of the Galaxy is easily one of the best rides I’ve ever ridden. 🎢

I also love when the it’s festival time so we can eat and drink our way “around the world.” Food & wine is my favorite festival but Holidays around the world was fun as well 🎄

We had a fun breakfast this time at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall which is a fabulous place to get your princess fix! 👸🏼

Our first full day at Magic Kingdom was so much fun! The Christmas decor was adorable, the crowds were low, and the rides were even better with the Genie+ & lightening lanes!

Because we had such low wait times, we finished the park early & ended up back at Disney Springs for a great meal at Terralina! Can’t beat wood-fired pizza & yummy bolognese! Plus, the nightly “snowstorm” sure is the sweetest ending 🥰

Hey, everyone! It’s a Mari Micci takeover from our trip to Disney & Universal! Haven’t even been here a full day & had to make The Boathouse at Disney Springs our first stop! The 75 day dry aged ribeye was to die for, but the Hollandaise asparagus may be the best we’ve ever had 🤩

His last show is soon, so we packed up for an extremely quick trip to NYC that was all about ME and the things I love - BRT, broadway, great food, Christmas cheer, a little hot chocolate while people watching, rooftop views, & making memories ❤️

Puerto Vallarta, you were fabulous! One of my drivers told me that the city is consistently voted one of the friendliest in the world, and I believe it! The people are so kind and hardworking, the service and food was just outstanding! 🌮

And oh my goodness, those views are spectacular! Puerto Vallarta boasts diverse terrains—lush jungles, sandy beaches, and the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains. From many of the resorts, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean provide stunning sunsets ☀️

The Malecon, a seaside promenade, showcases the blend of vibrant culture and natural beauty with ocean vistas and sculptures by local artists. My tour guide took me there to see the Day of the Dead displays, and the Catrinas were fabulously impressive. 🇲🇽

We finished up our cruise with fun beach time in Cozumel and Bimini, Bahamas! We stood in awe of the beautiful blue water, met more kind local people, and had more great food & drinks. Relaxing beach days were just what we needed!

I love a good day at sea, and we had 2 more to enjoy! We were definitely spoiled with fun pool time, naps, drinks, yummy food, and wonderful service.

It’s always a good time for a girl’s trip!

For our last day on the boat, we enjoyed room service breakfast on our veranda and headed to the fabulous spa for massages ☺️

Next up was a day on the beautiful Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. The island has a huge stretch of white sand beach and the calmest turquoise water. Let me tell you there was so much to do if you want - snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, paddle boards, swimming with stingrays, volleyball, a cute splash pad for the little ones, tetherball, character interactions, BBQ lunch, teen club, ocean trikes, fishing, boating excursions, a fun slide into the beautiful blue ocean and parasailing. ☀️

After mom and I took in all the action, we decided a trip to the adults only side of the island was in order. More beautiful calm blue water, some fun drinks, and our chairs at the edge of the ocean made for a fabulous time for us 💦

Continuing the adults-only theme for a bit when back on the boat, we hung out in the infinity pool and took in the beautiful views. We met several couples whose kids were having a great time in the kids clubs while mom and dad took in some relaxing time on their own 🏝️

It was a Halloween on the High Seas cruise, so of course we had to dress up! We had the best time in our costumes, and the Halloween party was precious 🎃

Next up was Aladdin on stage, and it was spectacular! I can’t get over how talented the entertainment team on the ship is. So much fun! 🧞‍♂️

Lastly, my favorite dinner! My inner princess had a great time dining in Arendelle - it was a celebration of Anna & Kristoffs wedding complete with the most talented trio singing all the fun Frozen songs. Elsa was beautiful, and Olaf was precious as always. The kids had a blast, and so did we - The food was good too!👸🏼

Yesterday was another fun day on the Disney Wish!

After spending some time in Nassau, we scrolled through the many boat activities and decided to watch the Haunted Mansion movie in the Disney Wish theater. It was really good!

Then we stopped by the Hyperspace lounge for a drink. Lots of cool things happening in there 🪐

I was so excited for the Little Mermaid broadway-style show, and it did NOT disappoint. The entire cast was so talented!

Next we went to the deck party for some pirate-themed fun 🏴‍☠️

Dinner was at the Marvel restaurant complete with a virtual visit from Ant Man and an actual visit from Spider-Man 🕸️

Embarkation Day on the Disney Wish was so fun! It’s a beautiful ship 🚢

We enjoyed tours of the fablulous spa and of the Kids Clubs (this deserves its own post - just WOW), a fun sail away dance party with Mickey & Friends joined by Fairy Godmother, the princesses & their princes 👑

We saw a great show in the theater hosted by Minnie and Goofy and played Disney parks trivia (beat a lot of people - pretty sure the winners cheated though 😉) before having a very tasty dinner in a beautiful setting.

There’s LOTS more fun to be had on this ship!

It’s Leslie again, continuing my account takeover for our cruise on the Disney Wish. 🚢

Mom and I stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter last night. Admittedly, it’s never been a favorite of mine so I thought I would revisit and give it another chance. I like to check out all resorts for my clients, even if they aren’t necessarily my personal faves.

It’s not that I don’t understand the appeal. I do recommend it sometimes for those who I think may like it - It’s the smallest moderate resort so less walking can certainly be a plus, especially for people with mobility issues or small children. The theming is cute, and kids seem to really love the wishing fountain. It has a fun pool with slide, a splash area, a pretty large arcade, and a cute little playground area for kids. I do love the boat to Disney Springs, and bus transportation to the parks is usually pretty good.

It kinda grew on me this time, though. Maybe it’s the Mickey shaped beignets that pushed it up a notch ❤️🖤❤️

We started yesterday with another great breakfast. Yes, that’s a S’mores waffle 😍. We pool hopped to make sure we weren’t missing anything and ended up at my personal favorite - the rooftop pool. We ditched dinner and ended up back in the spa because why not, right?

We were sad to say goodbye to Mexico this morning. The people were so kind and accommodating as usual. Until next time!

It was another great day in Mexico! We started off the morning with yummy breakfast and some beach time. Some of us had dessert for lunch followed by more relaxing pool time. The night ended after a great dinner at the Asian restaurant and a little live music in the lobby bar.

It’s always a good day for the spa! We started yesterday with fabulous massages and a relaxing hydrotherapy circuit. We chased away the rain with a nap and a midday cup of coffee. We had a great time at our tequila tasting and followed that by eating sushi off a conveyer belt for dinner. We topped the night off at the mixology bar to watch an acrobatic show and then called it a night 🍸🍱🌞
