From the rainforest to the coastline, the second half of our Costa Rica adventure took us from La Fortuna to the stunning Manuel Antonio.

The long drive? Not too bad since we broke it up with a super fun white-water rafting adventure and a stop at a local restaurant for an authentic Costa Rican lunch with our guide Diego.

Next up - while the girls enjoyed a relaxing spa and pool day, the guys went fishing with local pros. The catch of the day was tuna, which became the star of a delicious dinner prepared by a fantastic chef right in our condo.

Our final day was all about relaxation, splitting time between the lovely black sand beach and the gorgeous pool.

Aligning schedules for this trip wasn’t easy, but every moment was worth it!

We’ve just wrapped up the first half of our Costa Rican adventure in the lush rainforest of La Fortuna, and it’s been nothing short of amazing!

We kicked off with an adrenaline-pumping zip-lining experience through the treetops. Only one of us had to try to navigate a fear of heights mid-air—can you guess who?

Walking the hanging bridges in Arenal National Park was both thrilling and serene, offering breathtaking views of this beautiful area.

An early morning visit to the sloth sanctuary rewarded us with a rare sight: a sloth waking up and showing his face, even if just for a second.

Our downtime was blissfully spent unwinding in the resort’s pool and hot springs—a perfect way to relax after our active days.

Exploring the charming town of La Fortuna was a delight, with dinners at local restaurants being some of our favorite experiences so far.

Next up: We’re heading to Manuel Antonio for rafting, beaches, fishing, spa indulgence, and a sunset cruise. Stay tuned for more adventures!

❤️ It was a tough choice, but I think our hotel in Venice was my favorite this trip! The location, service, food and drinks were fantastic. I adored the stunning views of the canal from our balcony.

Nestled along the stunning Riva degli Schiavoni, just steps from Piazza San Marco, Londra Palace is a masterpiece of Venetian charm and timeless elegance. This boutique hotel boasts 100 windows overlooking the serene Venetian Lagoon, offering breathtaking views of gondolas gliding through shimmering waters.

With its rich history dating back to 1853, the hotel blends classic opulence with modern comfort. Each of the 52 individually designed rooms features period furnishings, Murano glass chandeliers, and Italian marble details. The Michelin-starred Do Leoni restaurant offers a culinary journey through Venetian and international flavors, perfect for food connoisseurs.

Londra Palace is not just a stay—it’s an invitation to experience Venice in its purest form. Whether it’s sipping drinks on the terrace, strolling through nearby cultural landmarks, or basking in the romantic ambiance, this is Venice at its finest.

Two Days in Venice: Not Nearly Enough

Sometimes, two days feels like a week. In Venice? It feels like a heartbeat.

🇮🇹Day 1

The moment we stepped off the train, Andrea, our guide, was waiting like an old friend. Strolling through Venice’s postcard-perfect streets, he introduced us to cicchetti—tiny bites with big flavor—and took us to his go-to Venetian mask shop. Then came the magic: a visit to a husband-and-wife artisan duo crafting breathtaking mosaics.

The day ended as every day in Venice should—with a sunset gondola ride.

🇮🇹Day 2

We wandered through Venice’s enchanting maze of streets, uncovering treasures at every turn. We wnjoyed a stroll through San Marco Square, a fun rooftop bar treated us to unforgettable views of the Grand Canal, and the bustling Rialto Market brought the city’s vibrant energy to life. The day was a great mix of exploring charming local shops and indulging in our own mini bacari crawl.

For dinner, Lucia, our local hostess, served up a feast of pasta, mussels, pumpkin, and potatoes in her cozy Venetian home. Before that, we enjoyed a detour through the historic Jewish Ghetto for a few pre-dinner drinks.

Thank you Venice. We stand in awe of your beauty. ❤️
