Adam Baxter will be doing a free show today at 2pm at the cafe and they will be giving out complimentary cookies and lemonade during the show! Check it out!

Baxter said he’d make the poster and he did not dissapoint 😂 getting some Mike Wazowski vibes from the Monsters Inc Commercials 😂 (see comments)

This Saturday we have a free show on the patio! Local and award-winning artist Adam Baxter will be pumping out some tunes to cap off a fantastic summer and Caleb (our barista and Haley’s son) will be opening the set up at 2pm!

Come on down and enjoy an hour of amazing music! We will also be giving away complimentary lemonade and cookies during the event! 🩷

"I did a 7-day kayaking trip with Adventures Newfoundland and it was absolutely incredible! The two guides were very knowledgeable and fun. We were very well fed and looked after. Getting to stay the night in a lighthouse was also very exciting! This was my 5th multi-day kayak trip and definitely my favorite. Just outside Lewisporte in the beautiful Boyds Cove! Happening this week!

Mi’kmaq ceramics artist Kayla Stride will be holding a workshop featuring traditional Raku ceramic techniques on August 16 starting at 6pm at the Beothuk Interpretation Centre. Participants will create and go home with a beautiful piece. Workshop is free but space is limited. Don’t miss out and book your space now by calling the Beothuk Interpretation Centre at 709 656-3114.

She will also be demonstrating traditional Raku ceramic techniques as well as displaying samples of her work throughout the day on August 16 and August 17 as part of our Creative Spirits series.
