It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone. We always like to start off the new year with a little about who we are for those who maybe new to our page or maybe have been following along but have no idea. We reside in London Ontario. Andrew who grew up in Lucan, Ontario and my self in Sault Ste Marie. After many travel adventures, we decided back in 2018 to purchase our first vacation rental in Davenport Florida close to Disney World. Over the years we have made so many memories with family and friends. Our goal has always been to expand to other destinations and decided in 2022 to purchase a property and build in Tamarindo Costa Rica. Those plans unfortunately have not went quite the way we have planned. We know everyone has asked “when will it be ready to rent”? Our honest answer is, We have no idea! We continue to have big hopes and big dreams for 2025. We look forward to another year of hosting New and returning guests. We appreciate all of you who have followed along, stayed or have future plans to stay. Cheers to another year of making amazing memories. Happy New Year!

They fly out of London Airport as well but we have tended to fly out of Kitchener Waterloo more often because they seem to have more flight date options. Here is a flight round trip from KW to Orlando leaving January 11th and returning January 17th 2025. We have an opening during this time at our 6 bedroom, 5 full bathroom home with a private pool. 3500 square feet and sleeps 16. Only 11 miles from Disney World. This is the link to access the Florida Blue Lounge and give you the opportunity to snag those bracelets for the eat to the beat concert series currently going on till November 23rd. The bracelet will give you reserved up close seating for the concert that day. You must ask for these bracelets at entry if you would like them. Did you know that you don’t need to be staying on a Disney Resort to take advantage of the great events the different resorts offer? We checked out Disney’s Fort Wilderness Lodge’s campfire show. This is a FREE event. Yes you read that right, it’s free! All you need to do is head to Disney Springs and park in their orange garage. This is the closest parking garage to the bus depot. If this garage is full, you can park in any of the garages at Disney Springs and walk to the resort bus depot. Parking at Disney Springs is free where parking at the resorts is not. Once at the bus depot at Disney Springs, you will catch the bus to Fort Wilderness Lodge. Once you arrive at the lodge you will then transfer to a second bus that will take you to the campfire show. You will have to walk a bit from the bus stop to where the campfire event happens. There is signs along the path to direct you there. There are multiple campfire pits for you to roast your marshmallows on. You can bring your own roasting sticks, marshmallows, cookies and chocolate or they do have them there for you to purchase. I picked up a 12 pack of the roasting sticks at Walmart in the camping section near our home for $1.49 along with all the goods for us to make the smores. During the campfire, there is singing, dancing and chip and Dale show up. After the campfire show is done, you can stay to watch the outdoor movie. You can pull up a list of which movies will be playing each night by going onto the Fort Wilderness website. This is such a fun free event for all ages and happens every night at 7:30pm weather permitting. You can bring your own blankets, and lawn chairs or use the free benches provided. I recommend giving yourself an hour and a half transportation time to get from our home to the event. This gives you time to park and catch the bus there. Chip and Dale walk around prior to the campfire event starting for photos and autographs and they have some craft activities fo

Large Vacation Home Near Disney

Our love for the Orlando area started when we took our children to Disney World for the first time. When we saw the magic in our children’s eyes, we new we had to purchase a place here to create many more memories. We love to travel and know the challenges traveling with children creates. Having two small children of our own, we want to have a large space with all the amenities and comforts of home so you and your friends and family can create wonderful memories together.

Our 3500 sqft home offers 6 Bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, with a south west facing pool and spa and a fully covered lanai. This home has a great open concept floor plan perfect for large families and entertaining. Multiple sliding glass doors, large windows and plenty of natural light. Expansive fully equipped kitchen, featuring ample countertop space, island, breakfast bar, and nook. Main floor features 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, upstairs has a bonus bedroom, TV area, and bathroom.

We are located 15 minutes away from Disney World and are only 25 minutes to Universal Studios. Numerous golf courses in a 10 minute radius. Plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centres and outlet malls close by.
