Go West ... After a long, hot and dusty journey we finally reach the far West: Lake Victoria, more specifically, Rusinga Island - a birding paradise! The Lake is so immensely vast (like the Queen's empire at those times) - weird to think one can't see the other side. Such a lovely place to enjoy amazing (birding) boat rides. Non-birding fans can simply relax by the beautiful lake shore, go canoeing or do other water sports. Of course I won the 'Who sees Lake Victoria first ?' contest. Google maps had nothing to do with it :) ...Sadly it's now time to go back to Nairobi again - duty calls!
