Congratulations to All our Magic Family Getaways runners!

We started our day at 4am heading over to the start of the 5K at Epcot, then headed to our corral assignment and waited for our turn to start.

3-2-1 fireworks and we were off!

Along the course were several princesses available for photo opps and local high school marching bands to cheer us along.

The most inspiring though was the view of world showcase as we ran from Mexico around to France - with a quick peek backstage until we entered again in the UK and then to the finish line.

At the end was a finish line, a feeling of satisfaction, a bottle of water, and a metal to wear proudly for the rest of our day! Oh… and a huge breakfast at Topolino’s because we earned it!

While I was Disneyland I toured the amazing Disneyland hotel.

The Disneyland Hotel was the first hotel on property which opened October 1955, only a few months after the park was open. in October of 1955 But did you know it wasn’t owned by the Disneyland Company? It was owned by friends of Walt Disney Bonita & Jack Wrather. Not until the 90s did it become a part of the Disney properties.

This hotel was both beautiful inside and out. The history that is present as you walk through the halls is undeniable. From the collage of pictures of Disneyland Resort though the years, peoples memorabilia on display, murals of sketches that were being done through the design of Disneyland; and a map of Disneyland complete with interactive visuals like dumbo flying and a ferriswheel spinning.

The rooms range from a regular room, with views of pool, or downtown disney, or woods; I loved the fireworks carpet! There is also Signature Suites available as well. Each Signature Suite has its ow unique door and doorbell! I had the opportunity to walk through the amazing Mickey Mouse Penthouse. Dining on property includes Trader Sams, Goofy’s kitchen, Tangaroa Terrace, Steak 55 and more.

The pools are themed with monorail waterslides or for quieter experiences there are D and E-Ticket pools. And best of all simply walk off the property into Downtown Disney. From there, you're just steps aways from both theme parks!

Lunar New Year Celebration!
This year is the year of the tiger 🐅 So our guy Tigger was representing this year!
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession embraced you into a beautiful celebration of song and dance!
Raya’s lanterns were sure to light up your night, and the colors were sure to brighten your spirits.
The marketplace has many wonderful food that makes you feel like you are part of the culture.

This was a beautiful event and I am very grateful to be able to be here with and representing

The recently opened Tenaya Stone Spa at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is spiritual, peaceful , stunning, a most stop while here.
They offer massages, foot treatments, manicures, pedicures, salon services, steam room and a wonderful retail selection. They are open daily from 8am to 8pm. 🧖🏼‍♀️

Goodnight Disneyland! Thanks for a great first day! We saw some things that we have never seen , went on rides that are only here and never been on, tried food that never tried before! Today was a lot of first and a lot of fun!

As many of you know I started my dream job as a travel advisor with Magic Family Getaways a couple of years ago. I love to travel, I love the beach, I love to learn about new adventures that we can take, I love Walt Disney World, and I love helping people plan their vacations so the experience is fun and memorable.
