Eric's Personal Training Personal trainer with a degree in kinesiology and vast knowledge and experience. Works on a sliding scale to make health and fitness accessible to all!

Eric is an experienced personal trainer with an AA degree in kinesiology, currently working towards a BA degree at California State University Northridge. He has a vast knowledge of physical fitness, weight management, nutrition, physical rehabilitation, and stress management. He creates a unique client-specific program to meet his client’s needs and goals whether in a one-on-one setting or a grou

p setting. He does this by listening carefully to concerns, creating custom workouts and nutritional programs to reach the client’s goals, and being available to his clients every step of the process. As a student himself, he understands that personal training can be very expensive and works with each client on a sliding scale to make the process easy and affordable. Good health should be a focus for everyone, and he believes it should also be attainable to anyone! Send a message if you have any questions or if you, or someone you know, is interested in affordable personal training.

"Its raining outside" is one of them!!

Finding an excuse to skip the gym or give up on a workout routine is all too easy. If you’re not careful, over-exaggerating can add up to a lot of missed exercise opportunities.

In the article “Exploring the Deadlift” by Bird, Stephen PhD, and Barrington-Higgs, Benjamin, explains the benefits of Romanian Deadlifts in how “the RDL is suggested to be essential in developing movement proficiency in weightlifting (3,8) because the RDL establishes the correct body positioning (stance and posture) through initiation of the posterior chain segment of the hips, buttocks, and hamstrings (i.e., low back-hip hinge) (3), which is required to allow lifters to maintain optimal alignment (2).” Learning how to do a proper lift will decrease the chance of an injury. If you want to increase your lower body strength Romanian Deadlifts would be a great way to start.
