To Our Clients,

It has been four months since we stopped selling travel services to and through Turkey due to the atrocities Turkey committed in northern Syria during its military invasion last October. We took that principled position, despite its costs, to raise awareness of Kurdish human rights, which are too often downplayed or ignored in the media.

We are grateful for our clients’ open mindedness, understanding, sympathy, and loyalty during this period of time, which afforded us an opportunity to explain and discuss with many of you important matters concerning human rights.

However, to best serve our clients, some of whom must transit through or go to Turkey to visit loved ones during this era of declining travel options, it is time to bring the boycott to a close. Therefore, we are resuming travel services to and through Turkey.

We wish you all safe and happy travels.

Dear clients and friends: Due to the atrocities being committed against the Kurdish people in Syria by Turkey, Quantum Travel Services will not be selling travel products that profit the Turkish state, including airline tickets on Turkish Airlines or any travel or tourism to or through Turkey, regardless of the carrier. The Turkish attacks on Kurds in Northern Syria have created a humanitarian crisis and are part of a campaign to repopulate a historically Kurdish region with non-Kurds. The United Nations has defined ethnic cleansing as “rendering an area ethnically homogeneous by using force or intimidation to remove persons of given groups from the area," which is the stated intent of the Turkish military attacks in Northern Syria. Ethnic cleansing is a violation of the Kurds’ human rights.

If you're a confident hiker with no fear of heights, the ultimate view of Machu Picchu is from Huayna Picchu, which rises over the site. Tickets have to be booked in advance and only a limited number of people are allowed to go each day.
