When we first started researching Troopies, Ant’s video was one of our favourites. Not only because of the clever ideas packed into the car, but also his style, narrative and epic visual skills. Soon we got hooked to their videos, and whatever they got up to. Emma & Ant really showed us in the past 3 years that you can have awesome Troopy adventures even if you’re not a full time traveller. We couldn’t be more happier for them that they have decided to take the plunge and start their big adventure.

We made it. After 3 years of planning, it's time for the Troopy to take us on an adventure for a few years.

This has been a long-held ambition for us and our first stop is Tasmania. We're a little dazed after the scramble to pack our life into the back of a Landcrusier, but after a few days of rest we know the reality will start to set in.

The plan is to complete a lap of Australia before shipping to the US, to begin our travels north to Alaska.

This is going to be one incredible adventure.

We had a great afternoon exploring Brisbane! Even though the weather was not the best (i.e: pouring..), we saw a lot of new and interesting places :)

After all the travels and adventures, it's great to be back in a city, nice and settled, at least for now!

One of the best things in Brisbane is that we can see a lot of lizards, they are just chilling on rocks, walking around in parks and on pathways, and it's awesome to see them and loads of other birds every day on our way walking to the office!

The trees are also blooming, so they turn the landscape to bright colours!

Oh, and let's not forget the great sunsets when the sun disappears behind the city!

Brisbane was a great choice, hooray! 😊🇦🇺

Exciting times! 😊

After finishing our trip, we thought of using all the insights we gathered in that 11 months and created a tool to help people find less crowded campgrounds in Queensland for the coming School Holidays!

We used publicly available Open Data Queensland provided by Queensland Government to visualise how busy the campgrounds were during the Spring Holidays last year.

Derby is known for its massive tidal changes, one of the biggest in the world. The town itself may not have a lot of attractions, but we found the sunsets pretty amazing!

We start our journey on the on The Gibb River Road - Kimberley, Western Australia with a bit of a loop through Fitzroy Crossing. From there, we head up to Geikie Gorge National Park, meet some friendly freshies at the Windjana Gorge National Park and take a big breath to tackle a big one: walking through the dark cave of Tunnel Creek. Hey everyone! This week we go on one of the best adventures of our trip! Yes, we put on the snorkels and swim with a whale shark, the biggest fish of the seven seas, then also spot a couple of manta rays! How cool is that?
