Samantha Peick from the United States volunteered to Ghana with us, and here's what she had to say after her enriching experience -

"My experience in Ghana was better than I could have dreamed. I chose this trip because of affordability, adventure, and the desire to immerse myself in a new different culture. I participated in the 3 week Summer Program. I was able to gain close relationships with the girls at Maltiti School through teaching and spending time with them, and my host family. If you go in with an open mind you will have an incredible experience. Our coordinator Fredrick made everything worry-free and helped us adapt and understand the culture. I will miss Ghana and I wish I could have stayed longer. Take the plunge and see this beautiful and welcoming country for yourself, you won't regret it."

"The healthcare program in Peru is an excellent way to engulf yourself in another culture and build upon your own healthcare skills and learn new ones. Living with a host family really helped me settle in and feel at home in Cusco and the other volunteers were great. The staff is friendly and easily contactable if you have any problems, the clinic staff love having new faces to talk to and teach. Overall an excellent program that is affordable and worth the trip, wherever you decide to go."

"It was amazing to be with the kids, to help them in everything they need, and to see how they
live and to get proportions. Thank you very much! The overall living experience was excellent. It was very comfortable and homely stay with all the facilities that I could have asked for. The highlight of my project to see the kids run to hug me when I come to the orphanage every morning."

"My experience in Thailand with Volunteering Solutions was absolutely amazing. The staff was professional, helpful and very nice. The volunteering itself offered many different ways to help and to get involved with the local culture, such as working with the elephants or teaching basic English to kids etc. It's a complete volunteering project since it also includes sightseeing Bangkok, visiting temples and a jungle trek in Khao Yai National Park. Through all those activities you get to know a lot more about the Thai culture, and that helps during the volunteering work."
